Marc Mojica reacted on thisMarc Mojica reacted on thisWe missed Fable 5.1, but not this time! Detroit, let's build something with Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5! After an incredible first Claude Workshop Day in August, we're back. On Tuesday, Oct 6 (6–9 PM), we're hosting a Claude Community Build Day at RIVET Work: three hours to get hands-on with Claude's newest model, Opus 5.5, and walk out with something you made. Pick a track: → Delight: build something surprising, beautiful, or fun → Breakthrough: build something you couldn't build before → Everyday: build something that solves a real problem in your life Go solo or team up, then show off what you built in a two-minute demo at the end. Every attendee gets $100 in Claude API credits. Pizza, stickers, and a surprise gift for the best demo are on us. It's free, and all you need is a laptop and some curiosity. Huge thanks to RIVET Work for opening their doors, and to the crew making it happen: Saeb A. Marc Mojica Jesse Chang Kenneth Yesh and Siteng Yu Reserve your spot: https://lnkd.in/diT_9yWc

Marc Mojica shared thisIf you’re looking to be at the center of AI, San Francisco is the place to be! There are AI events every day. While riding a Lime scooter around town, I overhear people talking about AI as I pass. I walk into coffee shops and see over 30 people with their laptops open to Claude or Codex. It’s literally AI everywhere. And when you need a break, there are plenty of parks, beaches, and trails to escape to and touch grass. I’m staying at Foundry while I’m here. It’s a hacker house, basically a shared home where founders and builders live, work on their projects, and connect with each other. For anyone building with AI, being surrounded by people exploring what’s possible is a big part of the appeal. You can come for one month, two months, or longer. You don’t have to move your whole life here to get immersed. They’re opening a new house in Mission Dolores. If you’re serious about building with AI, now is the time to be here. This could be your way in.Marc Mojica shared thisI’ve tied up 95% of my personal capital opening our fifth Hacker House in San Francisco. It’s a 28-bedroom house in Mission Dolores. 30% the rooms are still available. This is the third time I’ve put almost everything I have into building Foundry. Opening a house from scratch while bootstrapped means putting $70,000 into rent and furniture before the house earns its first dollar. It isn’t easy, but I’m glad I chose this path. The harder a business is to build, the fewer people are willing to take it on. Today, 50 residents call Foundry home. Over 200 founders and engineers have lived with us, including roughly 30 Founders Inc. participants and about 10 founders each from YC and Entrepreneur First. What makes it worth building is what happens between people: dinners that turn into working sessions, honest feedback on an idea, and help from someone working through the same challenges. We’re now welcoming residents into Mission Dolores. If you’re coming for SF Tech Week and want to stay with other founders and builders, apply here: https://foundry.today I’d love to welcome you home.

Marc Mojica shared thisToday at Grok Bot Galaxy, I turned my 28-agent company framework into a template you can try. 🦞 At the September 1 Grok Bot demo event in SF, I asked my Chief of Staff to migrate Lobster Agents from OpenClaw to Grok Bot. One prompt. While the demos were happening. Engineering, design, QA, research, sales, legal. Same org chart. Same personalities. Even the same office manager, Bob Hawthorne, routing work to the right agents. Lobster Agents gives you a ready-made team of specialists, so you can start delegating work without building and organizing a team from scratch. Grok Bot is looking like a serious contender for helping everyday folks get real things done with AI agents. Meet the Lobster Agents and try the Grok Bot template. Marc Mojica shared thisAttended the first Grok Bot demo event in SF tonight. Enjoyed the demos from Krista Letz Alex Finn Shub G. While they were presenting, I had my Chief of Staff migrate my Lobster Agents, a company of 28 AI agents originally built with OpenClaw, over to Grok Bot. My biggest takeaways: - Simple and easy to understand - Fun, with personality baked in - Conversations feel more like txting than prompting software This may be what brings agents to the mainstream.

Marc Mojica reacted on thisMarc Mojica reacted on thisLast week was a reminder that community doesn’t have to look the same. We kicked things off with our Agent Builder Social with Gauge, bringing together product and GTM leaders from companies building the infrastructure and developer platforms behind modern AI. It was a smaller room with good people and enough time to really get to know what everyone is building. Then we hosted the TinyFish Badminton. 30 founders, engineers and researchers came out to play. There was no agenda - just free play. We got to do our favorite sport with other passionate athletes in the community and make new friends in the space. Two very different events, but the reason we do them is pretty similar. We want to spend more time with the people building around us, create more ways for like-minded individuals to meet each other and support whenever we can. Community matters.

Marc Mojica reacted on thisMarc Mojica reacted on thisI've been pretty quiet on here lately, but behind the scenes I've been spending a lot of time with founders and looking at new companies. Here are a few consumer brands I think are doing something really interesting right now: Anagenesiss makes award-winning olive leaf tea, supplements, and olive oil from their family estate in Kalamata, Greece. Healez Beauty is a Malaysian skincare brand using stabilized hypochlorous acid to help acne-prone and sensitive skin without being harsh. AWEAR is a small EEG ear patch that detects stress before you even notice it. Wild Ones Organics is building a strong DTC brand with real potential to win in retail too. Montanya Distillers is a female-founded Colorado rum that has been fermented, distilled, and aged at 9,000 feet since 2008. Goldie is lemonade sweetened only with Manuka honey, with a full teaspoon in every can. What's the most exciting consumer brand you've come across lately? Tag them below. I'd love to find some new ones.

Marc Mojica liked thisMarc Mojica liked thisWas a pleasure to have Logan Brown join us at Entrepreneurs First to talk about the future of legal services. 70+ founders and lawyers joined and we spent the majority of our time having an open discussion. Billable hours creates an incentive problem. Lawyers often spend time in meetings talking about how much they will bill for the duration of the meeting. Charging per unit of work done fixes the problem. Billable hours will likely survive in complex situations like a cross border M&A deals where work done has a custom definition every time. Standardized legal services like incorporation, contract reviews, etc will be billed per outcome. Thanks Orie Bolitho for all your help in putting this together 🙏 The Bridge

🤯 Eric Schmidt challenges the 3-year superintelligence prediction. The "San Francisco narrative" suggests agents will quickly lead to recursively self-improving AI. This rapid recursive improvement is particularly potent for scale-free problems like coding or mathematics. While the path to superintelligence is clear, the exact timeline remains a point of debate among industry leaders. 💡 Investing in foundational AI research and ethical development is crucial regardless of the exact timeline. What practical steps can businesses take today to prepare for advanced AI systems, whether in 3 or 7 years? #AI #Superintelligence #AGI #FutureOfWork #TechLeadership Thanks to ai.rise.co for sharing this video 🙏

The principles behind the term 'context engineering' are not new, but the terminology serves as a valuable abstraction for addressing the key challenges in developing effective AI agents. Understanding context engineering can help us navigate the complexities involved in AI development. For more insights, check out the article linked below. https://lnkd.in/g8aSn6r5

Is Anthropic's latest Fable model release the template for new models going forward? 1️⃣ grant access from all surfaces - Claude Desktop, Web UI, Claude Code, and API - for a limited, introductory time (Fable is available until 6/22) 2️⃣ grant access from API only thereafter - let's be realistic: money is made with token consumptions via APIs, not subscriptions. 3️⃣ re-introduce that model to all surfaces when there's a newer model to replace it, thus repeating the cycle (note: this is TBD) So latest models come with a premium price due to API-only access. Older models ride along on the subscription model. Does this work for y'all? I'm genuinely curious: where are you on the "dang that's expensive" to "company's gotta make money" scale?

The Hallucination Minimizer: a simple way to stop trusting the wrong AI answers Hallucination is not a rare edge case. It still happens with the most advanced language models. Why? Because LLMs • do not have access to all relevant data • optimize for plausibility, not truth • are trained to be helpful, even when they should say “I don’t know” This becomes dangerous when AI is used for market analysis, strategy work, or competitive intelligence. So I built something to fix this. 👉 The Hallucination Minimizer It is a custom GPT that does not answer your question directly. Instead, it rewrites your prompt to actively reduce hallucination risk. What it does for you: • adds missing context • installs explicit guardrails • forces critical reflection before answering • increases specificity where it matters most Here is the link to the GPT: https://lnkd.in/dRP8ta_f

Hookdeck • 4K followers
As a Shopify app developer, if Hookdeck didn’t exist, your options would look something like this 👇 1. No infrastructure at all Most apps do this at first: no queue, no retry strategy, just synchronous webhook calls. It’s fine for a dev store with a few orders, but when a single merchant grows or Shopify retries about 1000 updates, your app falls behind. By changing one webhook URL to Hookdeck, everything is automatically queued, retries occur on failure, and you gain full visibility into every request, all without needing to modify any code. 2. AWS EventBridge or Google Pub/Sub Most Shopify devs aren’t running massive AWS or GCP stacks, and if they try, they’ll lose hours wrestling with IAM permissions, tangled policies, and access rules long before a single webhook even reaches their system. Then come the dashboards, messy configuration, vague logs, and retries that need to be glued together with three other services. Hookdeck combines the parts you would need to cobble together (EventBridge, SQS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB) but focuses entirely on reliable webhook delivery. 3. Build your own (RabbitMQ, etc.) Launching RabbitMQ on Fly or Heroku feels simple at first, but once your queues start filling and memory hits its limit, the system fails, forcing you to chase lost events, spend hours debugging, and pay far more in compute than the app is actually worth. Hookdeck exists to remove all the webhook headaches from your life: we handle automatic queuing, retrying failures, and logging every request so your app always processes every event without you having to touch a line of infrastructure code.

Why Even as Context Windows Get Bigger, RAG Still Wins (And probably always will). We’re entering an era of massive context windows. Models like GPT-5.2, Claude 4.5, Gemini 2.5, and Grok 4 can now ingest hundreds of thousands — even millions — of tokens in a single prompt. That’s a remarkable engineering achievement. But here’s the uncomfortable truth for enterprise AI: bigger context windows don’t eliminate the need for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Imagine answering a business-critical question by rolling an entire warehouse into the conference room. - Every policy binder. - Every contract. - Every regulation, SOP, audit log, and customer record — stacked floor to ceiling. That’s a million-token context window. Impressive? Yes. Practical? Not even close. Now imagine something better. You ask a question — and a professional librarian instantly pulls the exact 3–5 documents, opens them to the right paragraphs, and places them directly in front of you. That’s Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Same knowledge. Radically better execution. 📚 Why the Librarian Keeps Winning 💰 Cost Feeding an LLM a million tokens per query is like renting warehouse space for a single lookup. RAG retrieves only what matters → 80–95% lower inference cost, every time. 🎯 Accuracy When everything is in context, nothing is prioritized. RAG surfaces the most relevant passages, dramatically reducing hallucinations. ⏱️ Freshness Warehouses go stale. RAG pulls live, up-to-date regulations, contracts, and data at query time. 📈 Scale Even 10 million tokens barely scratches enterprise knowledge measured in terabytes. RAG scales without exploding context windows. 🔐 Control & Safety In healthcare, finance, legal, and government, “maybe the model noticed the right clause” is unacceptable. RAG enforces source control, redaction, permissions, and auditability by design. At Inference Analytics AI Analytics, our agentic AI studio platform combines vector databases + knowledge graphs specifically for sensitive-data environments. Retrieval-first architectures aren’t optional — they’re table stakes when mistakes mean lawsuits, fines, or worse. Large context windows are powerful. They’re just not a replacement for a librarian who knows exactly where to look. The winning setup? Don’t move the warehouse. Query it intelligently.

🤖 Build a Support Agent with Vercel AI SDK — Scrimba 💡 “Good systems don’t just respond; they anticipate.” 👤 Completed by: Seven Grant 📅 Date: January 16, 2026 ⏱️ Duration: ~2 hours ✅ Grade: 100% 📌 Key Takeaways 1. The Vercel AI SDK abstracts LLM complexity without limiting control. 2. 🧠 A support agent is fundamentally a decision system, not a chatbot. 3. ⚡ Streaming responses significantly improve perceived performance. 4. 🔧 Tool calling enables agents to act, not just answer. 5. ✍️ Clear system prompts outperform long, verbose instructions. 6. 🛡️ Guardrails are as important as capabilities in customer support. 7. 📚 Embeddings are best used for retrieval, not reasoning. 8. 🌐 Web search integration fills documentation gaps in real time. 9. 🧩 Context management directly impacts answer quality. 10. 🎯 Latency is a UX issue, not just a technical metric. 11. 🧱 Modular architecture makes agents easier to extend and debug. 12. 📐 Deterministic outputs matter in support workflows. 13. 🚨 Error handling should be explicit, not implicit. 14. 🔍 AI agents should escalate uncertainty, not hallucinate confidence. 15. 📊 Observability is critical for production-ready agents. 16. 🔁 Prompt iteration is an engineering discipline. 17. 🤝 A well-designed agent reduces cognitive load for both users and teams. 🧠 Reflection This course reinforced that effective AI support agents are less about “intelligence” and more about structure. The Vercel AI SDK enables fast iteration while preserving architectural rigor. What stood out most was how small design decisions—prompt clarity, context boundaries, and escalation logic—compound into measurable improvements in reliability and trust. This wasn’t just a tutorial; it was a blueprint for building AI systems that are actually usable in production. #VercelAISDK #AIEngineering #CustomerSupportAI #ContinuousLearning #SevenGrantTravels

NEW: Alphabet and Nvidia VC arms back vibe coding startup Lovable at $6.6 billion valuation --- The VC arms of Alphabet and Nvidia have invested in Swedish vibe coding startup Lovable’s $330 million Series B at a $6.6 billion valuation, the company announced on Thursday. The news confirms an earlier story from CNBC, which reported on Tuesday that Lovable had raised at that valuation, trebling its valuation from its previous round in July, and that the investors included U.S. VC firms Accel and Khosla Ventures. CapitalG, one of Alphabet's VC divisions, and Menlo Ventures led the round. Alongside Accel and Khosla, Nvidia venture arm NVentures, actor Gwyneth Paltrow’s VC firm Kinship Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Databricks Ventures, Atlassian Ventures, T.Capital, Hubspot Ventures, DST Global, EQT Global, Creandum and Evantic also participated. The fresh funds take Lovable’s total raised in 2025 to over $500 million. Full story: https://lnkd.in/evaTwFvd

This Gemini prompt stack builds full offers in minutes (Gemini 3.0 prompts) My partner's been stress-testing Gemini's latest model for 10 days now It's better than GPT-5.1, Grok, and Sonnet 4.5 (Sometimes by up to 70%) But it's not just about it being smarter It's the LIVE web tracking and multimodal capabilities that really take it to the next level So he built a full offer orchestration system that combines both Here's how it works: 1️⃣ A proprietary RMBC prompt uses Deep Think to build a full buyer language map while filtering out the SEO fluff 2️⃣ Gemini 3.0 scans Reddit and finds the exact threads and online boards where you your clients discuss fixes and immediate needs. It sorts their needs by urgency and impact while simultaneously logging their "Pain Language" 3️⃣ It runs LIVE market intelligence scouting. It checks what your competitors are charging right now, what your ICP thinks about their offers, and their biggest problems with it 4️⃣ Restructures everything with that data to build an "Immediate-ROI" offer that hits every psychological trigger. It's written in their own pain language and is backed by social proof and psychographic analysis It's an offer-building system that replaces assumptions with an adaptive offer that shifts according to LIVE ICP needs It's all powered by Gemini's latest model (3.0 pro) I have permission to share the prompts and the setup guide Want them? ✅ Comment "PRO" ✅ Connect with me and Harald Røine and we'll send them to you 🎁 BONUS: Repost and we'll also send you his Gemini 3.0 GTM plan prompts
