  • We're proud to launch a new message composer and a rebuilt dispatch experience in RIVET Work — live today. If you send anything to the field — shift reminders, dispatches, schedule changes — this one changes your day-to-day. No more splitting one message across four texts, no more scrambled tables, no more hunting down who to call on site. → Live preview — watch the message take shape before it goes out → Site Contacts in a couple of clicks, formatted into the message for you → Two-tab dispatch — Craftworkers and your Leadership Team in one pass through the Schedule Builder drawer → SMS that lands clean: one message, not three out of order with the table mangled → A threaded inbox, so replies stay with the conversation This one came straight from what contractors told us they wanted. Thanks to everyone who helped in this new update! Full rundown here: https://lnkd.in/dFA6ZNfg

  • Most contractors can tell you where their people are today. Far fewer can tell you where they'll be in six months — or what happens to the business if they say yes to the next big job. That gap is expensive. It shows up as overmanning, as crews sent to jobs that aren't ready, as hiring up on one project and laying off at the end of it. We asked four of our Champions what closing that gap actually changed. RIVET is labor planning built for MEP contractors. Forecast every job, current and prospective. See where every person is and where they're going next. Know what you can take on before you sign it. Want to see it against your own labor plan? https://lnkd.in/ewQPWXT6 A big thank you to the people who sat down with us and told it straight: Andrew Aker — Interstates Zach Piercy — Poynter Sheet Metal Kyle Wilson — Poynter Sheet Metal Michael Bruner — Harrell-Fish, Inc.

  • Day one at Autodesk University with Ryan Meitl Louis Gelinas and Anthony Montalbano from RIVET Work. We're at booth 4119 in Innovators Alley. If you're a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing contractor trying to staff more work than you have people for, stop by. We'll put the Labor Demand Dashboard up on the screen — forecasted hours against actual, by job, by role, weeks out — and you can tell us where it breaks against your reality. Bring your worst staffing week. That's the one worth talking through. Booth 4119, through Thursday. 👋 #AU2026 #Autodesk University #MEP #ConstructionTech

RIVET is a proud sponsor of Autodesk University 2026. September 15–17 · The Venetian, Las Vegas · Innovators Alley, Booth 4119. AU brings together the people building the future of design and make. We're there for the part that happens after the model is done: getting the right crews to the right jobs, forecasting labor months out, and protecting the margin that was bid. Ryan Meitl (President & CEO), Louis Gelinas (Co-Founder & Director of Product) and Anthony Montalbano (VP of Customer Success) will be at the booth all three days. Come talk labor ops with us. Book a booth time: https://lnkd.in/eyKDkC5n #AU2026 #ConstructionTech #MEP #LaborPlanning #WorkforceManagemen

  • You bid the margin. Today we're talking about how you keep it. Margin fade rarely happens all at once. It happens one labor decision at a time. A project ramps up too quickly. The GC compresses the schedule. A crew stays on the job too long and another project starts understaffed. Overtime becomes the solution. And by the time it becomes obvious on the financials, a lot of the damage has already been done. We go live in a few hours: Margin Fade: How Labor Chaos Shrinks the Margin You Bid Today, August 27 — 1:00 PM ET / 12:00 PM CT 45 minutes + live Q&A. Free. Gary Fuchs spent 42 years leading construction operations at Westphal & Company, Inc. . He'll be joined by Brian Witt and Shawn Kast of Tessiers to break down what margin fade actually looks like in the field, why the final 25% of a project is so dangerous, and show live in RIVET Work how contractors can identify it while there's still time to act. If you own, operate, manage projects, or lead field operations for an electrical or mechanical contractor, this one is worth 45 minutes. Still time to register. Sign up even if you can't make it live and we'll send you the recording. 👇 Registration link in the comments.

  • Great few days in Seattle at Stratus Innovate 2026. It’s hard to beat an event that brings 500+ MEP contractors together to talk about what’s actually happening inside their businesses — the workflows, technology, and challenges they’re working through every day. One of the highlights for the RIVET team was getting to take the stage with Ryan Hoggatt, VP of Construction Operations at UMC , for a conversation on Pursuit Forecasting. UMC has grown 5x, and with that kind of growth comes a much bigger question than “Can we win this project?” If we win it, can we actually staff it? Ryan and Louis Gelinas dug into how UMC uses labor-demand forecasting to evaluate mega-project pursuits, run real go/no-go scenarios, and see potential gaps in backlog before they become a problem. That connection between business development and labor operations was one of my biggest takeaways from the conversation. Winning more work isn’t always the answer. Winning the right work, at the right time, with the capacity to execute it is. Thanks to the Stratus team, UMC, and everyone who joined the session or stopped by to talk with us this week. #StratusInnovate #MEP #Construction #WorkforcePlanning #LaborForecasting #RIVET

The RIVET Team will be in LA next week! RIVET Work and Los Angeles NECA are hosting a free Labor Operations Master Class for electrical contractors — two hours on the asset that's hardest to predict and most expensive to get wrong: your labor. Gary Fuchs and Brian Witt will cover: → Aligning manpower forecasts with project schedules → The early warning signs of labor risk → Where profit fade actually starts → Building labor plans your field teams will follow Structured session up front, open discussion over lunch. Bring the project that's giving you trouble — that's usually where the best conversation happens. 📅 Tuesday, August 18 · 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM PT 📍 Electrical Training Institute · Commerce, CA Big thanks to LA County NECA for partnering with us on this one. Looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday. Register 👉 https://lnkd.in/eRsCH_mF #ElectricalContractors #NECA #ConstructionManagement #WorkforceManagement #MEP #LaborProductivity #LosAngeles #NECA
