Djahit Gench’s Post

Was a pleasure to have Logan Brown join us at Entrepreneurs First to talk about the future of legal services. 70+ founders and lawyers joined and we spent the majority of our time having an open discussion. Billable hours creates an incentive problem. Lawyers often spend time in meetings talking about how much they will bill for the duration of the meeting. Charging per unit of work done fixes the problem. Billable hours will likely survive in complex situations like a cross border M&A deals where work done has a custom definition every time. Standardized legal services like incorporation, contract reviews, etc will be billed per outcome. Thanks Orie Bolitho for all your help in putting this together 🙏 The Bridge
