I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Canary Technologies to lead our Arrivals & Departures team — helping shape the next chapter of hospitality tech. Aman Shahi, Satjot "SJ" Sawhney, and the entire Canary flock have built an incredible product suite, and we’ve only just scratched the surface of what’s possible. I’m beyond excited to learn from such a sharp, driven, and downright kind group of people (and to still get a little slice of SeatGeek with Connor Swords and Dianna K. showing me the ropes!). Changing jobs is never an easy decision, especially when you love the work you do and the people you do it with. The SeatGeek team was (and still remains) full of talented, hilarious, and all-around good humans who built some truly incredible things together. To me, when you spend a third of your life at work, solving complex problems alongside people you admire is what matters most…and SeatGeek gave me that. I’m so grateful to have learned from Paula Segal Giuliani, Brian D. Murphy, Eric Waller, Steve Ritter, and so many others. Thank you for the mentorship, collaboration, and laughs along the way. And a special thanks to Joshua Eisenstat for always cheering me on through every chapter. I couldn’t do it without you…I’d probably starve without your lunches…but also without your endless support.

Peter Nembach - thanks for the first job so many years ago, and giving me a good role model to check back on over time. Ali Miller - thanks so much for supporting me at Instacart where I’ve put so many of these lessons to work and have had the privilege of selling food on the internet at the same time! Ok I went with 4. I also can’t claim that Adam Klee taught me about pivot tables, but he did teach me about http packet sniffers of which I am still grateful today!Brian D. Murphy reacted on thisI know I shake my head and laugh about some of the well-crafted posts on here. Most of my posts are written in 90 seconds or less. Sometimes the ideas swim in my head for months from observations I hear from others in my network or just my own experiences. I don't judge posts based on likes or comments but rather if the message hits with people and spreads! So here goes... Let's all start the week off by showing gratitude for 3 or more people in your network! Let's spread more light! Try to find things from your story that aren't obvious or big items. Here are some from me and I will try to keep this going this week but it's going to be a busy one with audits, county track championships, property tax grievances to file, Polar Bear Plunge in Long Beach NY (next Sunday - come join us) and more! 1. Adam Klee - over 20 years ago he sat me down and forced me to learn pivot tables. Ubiquitous now but back then not so much. We've gone a few years here and there without connecting but when we do it's picking up where we left off and we both appreciate each other's opinions. 2. Mr. Bob Sympson - a high school science teacher who for decades took groups of students under his wing and nurtured them with projects, environmental movements (Save elephants), a yearly trip to climb Mount Washington in NH, and much more. He's still keeping busy and I'm overdue by 2 decades to connect with him (no excuses). He also taught us all the word "TENACITY" which was always hanging on a sheet of paper in his classroom. I still have a copy of it. 3. Pr. Surinder Kahai - Prof. Kahai was part of my undergrad MIS education, my MIS internship helping build the first Press & Sun-Bulletin Newspaper Website, showed up again during my MBA coursework, allowed me to share my experiences with his students, has been a great sharer of life experiences on social media, and has also put out great energy to his students. He's a good egg. He also taught me how to manage people and take care of those in your charge during an incident during our internship with a bad manager who "fired" some of the interns because he was a control freak. I was not one of them but no one should have to be a part of that kind of nonsense. Every experience is a learning experience. Thank you all for adding to my experiences and enriching my life!
