At D2L, I led the launch of the all-new Creator+, oversaw content experiences across Brightspace, and played a key role in the company’s largest M&A initiative — integrating H5P to bring deeper interactivity to the platform. We also introduced a PLG-driven, tiered pricing model to unlock new revenue in a traditionally enterprise-sold space. What I’m most grateful for, though, is the chance to work with so many thoughtful, driven teammates — from the PMs I coached to amazing partners across design, engineering, product ops, sales, marketing, and M&A. I’m proud of what we built together and excited for what’s next. I’m looking for product leadership opportunities in SaaS — especially where content, AI, and collaboration intersect. Ben Battle reacted on thisBen Battle reacted on thisToday we celebrated delivery of our Student Journey Transformation Programme, a milestone made possible by the dedication of colleagues across The Manchester Metropolitan University. More than 350 colleagues have worked collaboratively with the support of our partner, Thesis, to bring this vision to life. Together, the team have built and tested an entirely new student management system from the ground up, alongside 32 integrations to create a more connected and seamless experience for over 40,000 students and more than 600 users. This innovative, cloud-based solution is a key part of our commitment to continually improve the experience of our students from application to graduation, through technology. It has been a hugely complex programme and it simply would not have been possible without the professionalism, expertise and determination of so many colleagues across our University. Alongside the technology, we have implemented a new operating model and new ways of working and now have the capability to continually modernise our processes and systems. Delivery of the Student Journey Transformation Programme is testimony to the power of people at Manchester Met and what we can achieve when we work together.
