Excellent tips here illustrating how a subtle change in tone can have a massive influence upon how your message is received. 1) Acknowledge Delays with Gratitude "Sorry for the late reply…" "Thank you for your patience." 2) Respond Thoughtfully, Not Reactively "This is wrong." "I see your point. Have you considered [trying alternative]?" "Thank you for sharing this—I appreciate your insights." 3) Use Subject Lines That Get to the Point "Update" "Project X: Status Update & Next Steps" 4) Set the Tone with Your First Line "Hey, quick question…" "Hi [Name], I appreciate you. I wanted to ask about…" 5) Show Appreciation, Not Acknowledgment "Noted." "Thank you for sharing this—I appreciate your insights." 6) Frame Feedback Positively "This isn’t good enough." "This is a great start. Let’s refine [specific area] further." 7) Lead with Confidence "Maybe you could take a look…" "We need [specific task] completed by [specific date]." 8) Clarify Priorities Instead of Overloading "We need to do this ASAP!" "Let’s prioritize [specific task] first to meet our deadline." 9) Make Requests Easy to Process "Can you take a look at this?" "Can you review this and share your feedback by [date]?" 10) Be Clear About Next Steps "Let’s figure it out later." "Next steps: I’ll handle X, and you confirm Y by [deadline]." 11) Follow Up with Purpose, Not Pressure "Just checking in again!" "I wanted to follow up on this. Do you need any additional details from me?" 12) Avoid Passive-Aggressive Language "As I mentioned before…" "Just bringing this back in case it got missed."

I increased my open rates by 17% with these 5 subject line tests: Your subject line is the first impression your email makes. It determines whether your audience opens the email or skips it entirely. Here are 5 subject line tests I ran that actually moved the needle (and why they work): 1. Add Personalization: Instead of: “Improve Your Email Marketing Results” I tested: “Chase, These Email Tips Could Boost Your Revenue” Why this works: Seeing their name feels personal and grabs attention in a crowded inbox. Personalization also shows you’ve tailored the content specifically for them. --- 2. Tap Into Curiosity: Instead of: “Email Marketing Strategies for Your Business” I tested: “You’re Leaving Money on the Table with Email” Why this works: Curiosity compels people to open. But the key is delivering on the promise—your content has to match the intrigue, or you’ll lose trust. --- 3. Create Urgency: Instead of: “How to Improve Your Email Campaigns” I tested: “Last Chance to Fix This Email Mistake” Why this works: FOMO (fear of missing out) gets people to take immediate action, especially when there’s a sense of a ticking clock. --- 4. Go Shorter: Instead of: “Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Email Marketing” I tested: “Better Emails, Today” Why this works: Short, punchy subject lines cut through the noise, especially on mobile where 50%+ of emails are opened. --- 5. Use Numbers or Specificity: Instead of: “Email Tips for Business Owners” I tested: “3 Subject Lines That Boosted Open Rates by 17%” Why this works: Numbers and specificity make your email feel actionable and credible. People know exactly what they’re getting. --- The Big Lesson: Your subject line is your email’s best salesperson. Start testing small variations today—personalization, curiosity, urgency, or brevity. Even a 1% improvement across a large list can make a massive impact. What’s the best subject line you’ve tested?

Early in my career, my outreach messages read like mini blog posts. They were long. They overexplained. They tried to cram in every possible benefit in one go. I thought more detail meant more persuasion… until a VP replied: “You sound like a bot. Unsubscribe me.” That stung. But it was also the turning point. I realised the real job of a cold DM isn’t to impress, it’s to start a conversation. Now my rule is simple: sound like someone you’d actually reply to. That means: → Short sentences → Fewer adjectives → One clear idea → Just ONE ask. Because cold DMs aren’t the place to flex your copywriting skills. They’re the place to make your message easy to read, easy to answer, and impossible to misunderstand. Every ignored message I sent before? It was training. Painful, but necessary. Now, my best outreach messages feel less like a pitch and more like a quick note from a colleague. And that’s why they work. What’s the one lesson you learned the hard way in cold outreach? 👇 #MessagingLessons #PersonalGrowth #OutboundSales #B2BCommunication #HumanFirst

WhatsApp, RCS & Co | Conversational AI & Marketing Automation | 249% ROI by Forrester TEI

Marketing Automation & Customer Service is no longer just about sending emails or filling out contact forms. With AI these flows can become journeys: interactive and truly personalized - unlocking new levels of engagement and conversion in Whatsapp or Chat. But where to start? Here’s a breakdown of the top journeys most e-commerce brands have implemented and how I rank their AI potential and impact: 1️⃣ Product Recommendations | AI Potential: High Helping your customer to make a choice and find the product that fits their needs. > Move beyond static scripts! AI can find best fitting products with LLM powered semantic search, resolve blockers, compare products and provide tailored suggestions. 2️⃣ Welcome Flow | High You offer an incentive, collect and opt-in and further into > With AI, this flow can become interactive: No form like answering all extrated from a normal informal conversation. Enrich their profiles for future personalization (email, birthday, ...) 3️⃣ Customer Service | High Taking care when your customers have a problem: > AI Agents will provide 24/7 multilingual support. Collect the info you need before handing over to a human if the certain problems still need the human insight, access, or touch. Save costs while enhancing customer experience. 4️⃣ FAQ Automation | Medium Make it easy for customers to find answers. > AI ensures responses are nuanced and personalized. 5️⃣ Abandoned Cart | Medium Customer is (almost) ready to buy, but got interrupted or needs a little nudge > Send a(i) personalized message based on the exact product they have in their cart. Highlight how it fits their preferences or past purchases. 6️⃣ Cross-Sell / Up-Sell | Medium Encourage customers to buy complementary products. > AI can craft compelling arguments for upgrades, bundles or next product to buy. 7️⃣ Birthday or Special Day Campaigns | Medium Send wishes and a little gift > Let AI create a personalized message, image, or video and send it via WhatsApp. 8️⃣ Winback / Replenishment | Low Remind customers to repurchase or return. > Personalization helps, but the core is timing. 9️⃣ Review Collection | Low Gather feedback and build trust with REVIEWS.io or alike > AI can personalize requests and handle negative feedback gracefully avoiding bad reviews. 🔟 Back-In-Stock | Low Notify customers when the product they wanted to buy is available again. > AI can add a personalized touch to the reminder [don't want to get out of stock? Talk to VOIDS] 1️⃣1️⃣Referral Programs | Low Encourage word-of-mouth with incentives for sharing. > AI can personalize referral messages for higher trust and conversion. 1️⃣2️⃣Fulfilment Updates | Low Keep customers informed about their orders. > Let AI add a personal touch related to the product shipped. [Want to turn into an upsell opportunity: Karla is doing a great job here] The future of e-commerce is about conversations, not campaigns. Which flow or journey are you excited to tackle first? #conversationalai

    Non-Boring Marketing for Advisory Firms

If your email subject lines are lame, no one is going to read your emails. You can have the best content in the world in your emails, but you need people to open them. Take time to craft compelling email subject lines so you intrigue your audience. 5 Tips for Crafting Subject Lines People Actually Open: 1. Spark curiosity, don’t give it all away. If your subject line answers the whole email, there’s no reason to click. Meh: “Our Q2 Report Is Attached” Better: “What we discovered in Q2 surprised us” 2. Talk to a real person, not a robot. Skip the corporate-speak and write like you’re texting your smartest client. Meh: “Optimize Your Portfolio With These Asset Allocation Strategies” Better: “Are you making this retirement mistake?” 3. Highlight a clear benefit, not a vague concept. If your subject line sounds like a boring newsletter, your prospects will skip it. Show them exactly what they’ll gain by opening. Meh: “Financial Planning Services Overview” Better: “How to know if your retirement plan has a hidden gap” 4. Call out a belief or challenge it. People love to open emails that poke at something they thought they knew. Meh: “Understanding Your Retirement Options” Better: “Already maxing your 401(k)? That might not be enough” 5. Keep it short and scannable. Mobile screens chop long subject lines in half. Aim for 6-8 words when possible. First 30–50 characters = prime real estate. There’s no perfect formula, but strong subject lines make a big difference. What tricks have helped you boost open rates?

"Nobody answers emails anymore." I wasn't convinced. So I pulled up their templates alongside thousands of others I've analyzed over the years, and the patterns were immediately clear. The emails that consistently get responses in today's crowded inboxes aren't the ones with the catchiest subject lines or the most persistent follow-ups. They're the ones that feel like they were written by a human being who's done their homework. Looking through my swipe file of emails with 30%+ response rates, I found myself returning to five core approaches that just work: I call the first one "The Pattern Interrupt" – where instead of saying what everyone else says, you notice something specific and ask a genuine question about it: "I noticed you recently shifted your messaging from security-focused to efficiency-focused. I'm curious what prompted that change?" Then there's what I call "The Contrarian Insight" – where you respectfully challenge conventional wisdom with actual data: "While analyzing conversion patterns across 50 companies in your industry, we discovered something that contradicts the common belief about [specific topic]. I'd be happy to share what we found if it might be useful." My personal favorite is "The Genuine Connection" – where you reference something they've created and add actual value to the conversation: "Your recent post about sales enablement challenges really resonated because I've been wrestling with the same issues. Have you considered [thoughtful question related to their perspective]?" For every client I work with, we build a custom "Message Testing Framework" where we develop variations of these templates specifically for their market, then test them with small batches (about 20-50 prospects each). 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚'𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨 – 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨. 𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙨. 𝘼 𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝-𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙨 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧. What consistently works across industries is specificity that shows you've done homework, offering value before asking for anything, and genuine curiosity rather than formulaic personalization. And brevity matters – almost every high-performing email I've analyzed is five sentences or fewer. Which of these approaches would make YOU respond? I'm genuinely curious. #SalesEmails #ProspectingTemplates #OutboundSales

We don't personalize all outreach. We let AI qualify when it’s truly worth it. Personalization is powerful and seems to only be growing in power. But how many “nice dog!” emails have you recieved? Is that personalization? Not every field in your CRM is a green light for a custom line. Not every prospect needs a shoutout to their golden retriever! Here’s the smarter play: → Start with your custom fields. Check if there’s something real to work with (a LinkedIn photo, a recent post, an actual signal). → If yes, let AI build a strong, relevant opener. The kind that feels real, not robotic. → If no, skip the fluff. Go with your best standard flow. No forced jokes, no fake compliments. This is the full workflow I use: 1️⃣ Clay checks and qualifies personalization fields. 2️⃣ If it finds valid ones, lemlist spins up an AI-personalized email. 3️⃣ If not, send the regular flow. No wasted effort, and more importantly: No cringe. The result? Segmented, filtered, and human outreach-at scale. No more over-personalizing or sending weak “personal” lines when you have nothing. Smart, simple, and it works. I’ve tested this with B2B SaaS teams scaling from zero to $10M+. Reply rates go up, unsubscribes go down. What other simple, straightforward flows do you have? Share below.

To enhance customer service efficiency and satisfaction, implementing intelligent chatbots and automated response systems is key. These systems operate 24/7, reduce costs, and provide consistent, personalized interactions. Here's a short guide on the key aspects to consider: 👉 Types of Chatbots Traditional rule-based chatbots follow predefined rules to answer specific questions, offering limited interactions. AI-based chatbots use generative AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to understand and respond to a wide range of questions naturally and effectively. 👉 Automated Response Systems AI-powered Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, automated email replies, and instant messaging bots streamline customer support. These systems handle inquiries efficiently, routing them to the appropriate departments and ensuring quick, accurate responses across various communication channels. 👉 Security & Privacy Considerations To safeguard customer information, ensure that chatbots and automated systems comply with data protection regulations such as GDPR. Transparency is key; customers must be informed that they are interacting with a chatbot and offered options to connect with human operators when needed. 👉 Implementing Intelligent Chatbots Successful chatbot implementation starts with defining clear objectives to address specific customer service needs. Choose a platform that supports natural language processing and integrates with existing systems. Continuously train and optimize the chatbot using updated data for better performance. 👉 Enhancing Customer Service Personalize interactions using customer data to provide tailored responses and recommendations. Collect feedback to refine the chatbot's performance. Combine automated systems with human support to handle complex issues requiring a personal touch, ensuring comprehensive customer service. 👉 Measurement & Analysis Monitor performance metrics like resolution time, customer satisfaction, and chatbot usage to evaluate effectiveness. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement, optimizing chatbot functionality and ensuring a continuously improving customer service experience. #CustomerService #AI #Chatbots Ring the bell to get notifications 🔔

Ever had a minor mishap with an online order? I sure have! My first Blue Apron delivery came with a hole in the lentil bag – lentils everywhere! But their response was pure customer service gold. Here's what they did right (and how you can too!): 1. Sound Like a Human: Ditch the corporate jargon and write like you're talking to a friend. Blue Apron's email was short, friendly, and used natural language. 2. Empathy Wins: They didn't just apologize; they showed genuine empathy for my messy situation. "I hate to think you won't be able to fully enjoy your meals..." Boom! Instant connection. 3. "I" and "You" are Magic Words: Use personal pronouns like "I," "we," and "you" to personalize your message and build rapport. It shows you're not just spitting out a canned response. 4. Double Down on Empathy: When things go wrong, reinforce your empathy when offering a solution. Blue Apron didn't just issue a credit, they said, "I wish I could help clean this up myself..." Key Takeaway: Turn those frustrating moments into opportunities to wow your customers. A little empathy and a human touch can go a long way in building loyalty and turning a negative experience into a positive one. Want more customer service gold?
