Pick the tool based on the task, not the logo. AI coding tools are no longer just autocomplete assistants. They are becoming different layers of the developer workflow. Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot all help developers move faster, but each one is strongest in a different situation. Claude Code fits well when you need deep repo work, terminal-native execution, multi-file changes, refactoring, test runs, and autonomous codebase updates. OpenAI Codex is useful when you want to delegate coding tasks, run work in the cloud, parallelize fixes, and let background agents return results for review. Cursor works best when you live inside the IDE and want fast daily coding, inline edits, codebase chat, agent changes, and quick iteration. GitHub Copilot is strong for teams already working inside GitHub, especially for autocomplete, PR support, repo chat, reviews, and enterprise adoption. The mistake is asking: “Which one is the best?” The better question is: “What job do I need this tool to perform?” For active development → Cursor For repo-wide refactors → Claude Code For async delegated tasks → OpenAI Codex For GitHub-native team workflows → GitHub Copilot The future is not one AI coding tool replacing every other tool. It is a stack. One tool for writing. One tool for refactoring. One tool for delegation. One tool for review and shipping. AI coding has moved from suggesting lines of code to helping developers plan, edit, test, review, and ship across real codebases. The real advantage will come from knowing which tool to use at which stage of the workflow. Which AI coding tool fits your current development workflow best?

"Leaders aren't magicians—they can't create something from nothing." — a team manager from my client’s organization said this the other day, and it struck me as so true. Yet, so many organizations still expect leaders to perform miracles, assuming they can lead with no support or resources. This is a detrimental misconception. Leaders need trust, time, and the right tools to build high-performing and inclusive teams: 1️⃣ Trust to ... - Pursue bold ideas - Create psychological safety - Enable inclusive decision-making 2️⃣ Time to ... - Develop their teams - Reflect and strategize - Build strong relationships 3️⃣ Tools to ... - Foster continuous learning - Maintaining high performance - Support collaboration and efficiency 👇 Here’s what tools I’d provide leaders with if I were your organization: 🛠 Inclusive decision-making strategies for engaging diverse perspectives in collaborative decisions. 🛠 Psychological safety blueprints to create environments where team members feel safe to speak up and take risks. 🛠 Bias detection tools to help leaders identify and reduce unconscious bias in interactions and decisions. 🛠 Feedback mechanisms for facilitating honest, constructive feedback from all levels. 🛠 Effectiveness tracking tools to measure and improve the impact of team efforts. 🛠 Conflict resolution techniques to navigate difficult conversations and manage conflict. 🛠 Simulated leadership scenarios to prepare leaders for complex challenges. 🛠 Team development tools to nurture individual strengths while promoting collective growth. As much as we expect from leaders, we must equally empathize and provide the resources they need to succeed. Because the best results come from empowering people, not expecting them to work miracles.

🚀 Excited to share my latest Fortune column on truly groundbreaking academic work from my co-authors Professor Karim Lakhani and Fabrizio Dell'Acqua at Digital Data Design Institute at Harvard (D^3), where I serve as an executive fellow. This remarkable field experiment with 776 Procter & Gamble professionals fundamentally challenges what we thought we knew about teamwork. The research reveals the emergence of the "cybernetic teammate"—AI that doesn't just assist but actively participates in collaboration. Three breakthrough findings: 1. AI Can Replicate Team Benefits Individuals working with AI achieved nearly 40% performance gains—matching traditional two-person teams. AI is providing the same collaborative benefits we've long attributed to human teamwork. 2. Cross-Functional AI Teams Generate Breakthrough Innovation AI-augmented cross-functional teams were 3x more likely to produce top 10% solutions. This isn't marginal improvement—it's a multiplicative effect that neither human-only teams nor AI-enabled individuals could achieve alone. 3. AI Breaks Down Silos (For Real This Time) R&D specialists with AI proposed commercially viable solutions. Commercial professionals developed technically sound approaches. AI acted as a bridge, enabling each team member to think holistically across functions—achieving the "silo breaking" that leaders have struggled to accomplish through org chart reshuffles. Bonus finding: AI collaboration increased positive emotions by 64% in teams. This isn't cold, mechanical work—it's energizing and engaging. At Seven2, we're translating this research into practice with our portfolio companies, building these AI-augmented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and competitive advantage. This is the future of collaborative work—not AI replacing humans, but human-AI ensembles that combine the best of both worlds. The 6 Types of Working Genius #AI implementation isn’t just about technology—it’s about unlocking your team’s natural genius. Here’s how: Have you ever wondered why some AI projects thrive while others stall? The secret often lies in how effectively your team collaborates and aligns their unique strengths. Recently, I revisited Patrick Lencioni’s The 6 Types of Working Genius and realized how transformative it can be for AI implementation. By leveraging this framework, teams can seamlessly align their roles and responsibilities to maximize success: 1️⃣ Wonder: Ask, What inefficiencies or opportunities can AI address? 2️⃣ Invention: Generate creative solutions and innovative use cases. 3️⃣ Discernment: Evaluate ideas for feasibility, practicality, and impact. 4️⃣ Galvanizing: Rally the team around a shared vision and implementation plan. 5️⃣ Enablement: Provide the hands-on support and collaboration needed to move forward. 6️⃣ Tenacity: Drive the execution process to completion, ensuring results are achieved. 🔑 Key Insight: Success happens when we align these strengths across the team. For example, a Discernment-Galvanizing leader might assess feasibility and inspire action, while an Enablement-Tenacity teammate ensures seamless execution. By applying this structure, organizations not only optimize AI adoption but also empower teams to thrive. 💡 What’s your team’s “working genius,” and how are you using it to implement technology? Let’s discuss—share your thoughts below or DM me to dive deeper into this topic! #AIImplementation #Leadership #WorkingGenius #TeamDynamics #Innovation #AI #Collaboration #PatrickLencioni #DigitalTransformation

Your Hybrid Team is Functioning — But Are They Thriving? • Flexible schedules are in place. • Tools like Slack and Zoom are running smoothly. • Projects are moving forward. Yet… cracks are starting to show. That’s because hybrid work isn't just about location flexibility. It brings hidden challenges that, if ignored, can hinder collaboration, engagement, and productivity. So, What Are the Biggest Challenges of Hybrid Work — and How Do You Overcome Them? 1. Communication Gaps Between In-Office and Remote Teams Hybrid teams can easily fall into information silos. → Standardize communication channels across teams. → Host regular all-hands and sync meetings. → Encourage over-communication when in doubt. Transparency keeps everyone on the same page — no matter where they are. 2. Micromanagement and Lack of Trust Hybrid work requires trust, but remote settings sometimes tempt leaders to micromanage. → Shift focus from hours worked to outcomes delivered. → Empower teams with autonomy and clear goals. → Promote a culture where accountability is shared. When people feel trusted, performance naturally improves. 3. Employee Burnout and Blurred Work-Life Boundaries Without clear boundaries, hybrid employees risk burnout. → Normalize respecting offline hours. → Encourage regular breaks and wellness initiatives. → Promote mental health resources openly. Well-being drives sustainable productivity. 4. Technology Hiccups and Tool Fatigue The wrong tech can slow teams down. → Invest in intuitive, collaborative platforms. → Regularly review your tech stack for relevance and ease of use. → Train employees to use tools effectively. The right tools make hybrid work seamless, not stressful. 5. Weakening Team Culture and Connection Without effort, hybrid teams may lose their sense of belonging. → Plan virtual team-building and casual interactions. → Celebrate wins, birthdays, and milestones—online and offline. → Reinforce shared values and team rituals. Connection is what transforms a team into a community. Hybrid work offers flexibility, but it also demands intentional leadership. The real question is — is your hybrid team just working, or are they working well together? Because when hybrid teams feel connected, trusted, and supported, they don’t just meet expectations. They exceed them. What Hybrid Work Challenges Are You Tackling Right Now? Drop your insights below. Would you like me to also suggest a hook line or headline variation for extra engagement? —- 📌 Want to become the best LEADERSHIP version of yourself in the next 30 days? 🧑💻Book 1:1 Growth Strategy call with me: https://lnkd.in/gVjPzbcU #HybridWork #TeamSuccess #RemoteWork #Leadership #WorkCulture

Ever feel like your team is stuck in an endless loop of manual data entry? (Automation Tip Tuesday 👇) That’s exactly where one of our clients — an education consulting firm — found themselves. They were juggling a whole tech stack of tools that didn’t “talk” to each other, creating inefficiencies and double work. We started with a look into their sales workflow. 🔹 Sales data lived in HubSpot, but once a deal closed, someone had to manually update Asana to track project progress. 🔹 Internal teams worked from one Asana board, but clients needed visibility into their own project timelines — cue more manual updates. 🔹 With so much repetitive data entry, valuable time was being wasted on low-impact admin work. Here’s what we did: 🔗 HubSpot → Asana automation: We created an integration that auto-generates project tasks in Asana when a deal reaches a certain stage in HubSpot. No more copy-pasting! 📢 Internal and client boards sync: Internal progress updates in Asana now automatically reflect on client-facing Asana projects, reducing the back-and-forth. Less busywork, more productivity. By eliminating duplicate data entry, the team saved 10+ hours per week — time now spent on strategy and client success. When your tools work together, your team can focus on what really matters. Where is your team losing time? Drop a comment below! ⬇️ -- Hi, I’m Nathan Weill, a business process automation expert. ⚡️ These tips I share every Tuesday are drawn from real-world projects we've worked on with our clients at Flow Digital. We help businesses unlock the power of automation with customized solutions so they can run better, faster and smarter — and we can help you too! #automationtiptuesday #automation #workflow #efficiency

I’ve spoken to hundreds of candidates this year. Almost all want hybrid. Not fully remote. Not five days onsite. Something in the middle that gives them control of their week. At the same time, I’m seeing more businesses push people back into the office. Not because they want to monitor them, but because they’re worried about culture, collaboration and, ultimately, performance. Both sides have a point. The real challenge is designing a system that works for the people doing the work and the business trying to grow. Because when teams spend time together, you see things improve: • Faster problem-solving • Fewer misunderstandings • Stronger culture • Better ideas • Higher output And when people have flexibility, you get: • Better focus • Less burnout • More commitment • Higher retention So the question for leaders isn’t “remote or onsite?” It’s: What rhythm gives you the best of both? A few ways I see this working well: • Make onsite days about collaboration, not long meetings • Keep focus days meeting-free • Set clear expectations so people know when and why they’re needed • Use hybrid to support deep work, not duplicate the office remotely • Build time for informal connection — that’s where culture grows The best teams aren’t choosing sides. They’re creating a system that respects people and drives results. #HybridWork #WorkplaceCulture ##FutureOfWork #CoachRecruitment

Just six weeks into my journey with Atlassian, and I'm blown away by the ways of working that pave the way for innovation here. 🤯 If we've chatted recently, you've heard me say: I get it! THIS is how knowledge workers leverage AI! It’s FAST, intellectually stimulating, and awesome. Here are a few ways Atlassian products have transformed my work experience: 🛠️ Tools Built for TEAMwork: With 84% of the Fortune 500 relying on Atlassian, we understand how the best teams operate. And we use our own tools — built for teamwork — to design teamwork. We live and breathe it all day every day, and we all aim to make everything a little bit better than we found it. 💡 Focus on Strategic Thinking: This is tactical, but my Loom Notetaker attends all meetings on my behalf, capturing notes, summarizing action items, and holding others accountable (in <a minute of the meeting end). This allows me to focus on strategic thinking and innovation. 📖 Clarity Over Complexity: We prioritize clear communication through writing and recorded messages. Each #Confluence page estimates reading time, and if it’s over 10 minutes, the norm is to record a Loom video, which is automatically edited and sped up. No decks or design work, just clear communication. 📈 Data-Driven Decision-Making: Our tools and platform empower teams to make data-backed decisions, providing end-to-end visibility. This ensures our strategies are rigorously informed and impactful — period. Atlassian thrives on speed and collaboration. Our ambitious goals and global, cross-functional teamwork demand it. We make decisions clearly and adapt to changes swiftly. It’s all about efficient, effective TEAMwork. And that, in turn, creates space for innovation. 🌍 #TEAMwork #Collaboration #Innovation #Growth #FutureOfWork
