Proud to help lead #TeamChipotle as they truly embody our mission of #CultivatingABetterWorld. This year, we doubled our roster and raised $120,000 more than last year to support innovative cancer research, therapies, and early detection. Couldn't do any of it without the support of the rest of the leadership team—Cheryl, Brady, Gregory—and our Captain, Rich. We joined 8,000+ riders, celebrating our brand, supporting the cause, and rallying toward #OneGoal. 🚴 🌯 🥑 #Pelotonia #Chipotle #CancerResearch #EndCancer Chipotle Mexican Grill | Pelotonia

Stephanie Cates reposted thisStephanie Cates reposted thisYesterday, we officially opened the first Chipotle in Mexico to the public. There's no market more meaningful for what we're building internationally. Bringing Chipotle to Mexico means earning trust in one of the most discerning markets in the world, and the standard we held to get here is exactly why I know we will. Real ingredients, fresh preparation, and the signature culinary techniques that have defined this brand since day one. No shortcuts. That's the Chipotle experience, and it travels. Grateful to build this alongside Alsea, who have been a world-class partner from the first day.

Stephanie Cates reposted thisStephanie Cates reposted this"One of the things that I think sets us apart and makes us special is the human interaction." Agentic AI has officially graduated from basic decision trees to unscripted autonomous agents, turning customer service into a massive $15 billion market. Companies are fast adopting AI customer service agents. However, about 80% of consumers still crave a human on the other line, and 40% of us would literally pay a premium just to bypass the bot. In an interview with Fortune’s AI Editor Jeremy Kahn, Chipotle Mexican Grill CTO Curt Garner said the company cut 10 hours of work a week with AI. 🔗 Watch the full video here: https://lnkd.in/e5r3yFhF

Every contribution helps provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of our nation’s heroes. 🍎🎓 Since our partnership began in 2021, Chipotle has raised more than $2.2 million for Folds of Honor, an incredible impact made possible by our guests and team members. Thank you to everyone helping us support the families who have given so much. 🙏

Stephanie Cates reposted thisStephanie Cates reposted this🏆🏀 New York is celebrating, and so are we. 🏀🏆 Today, our restaurant at 2 Broadway transformed into “Josh and Mikal’s Chipotle” to honor two of our biggest superfans and the excitement surrounding the championship parade. From custom signage and featured menu items to crew members sporting the first-ever orange and blue Chipotle uniforms, the restaurant takeover brought the celebration to life for New Yorkers.💙🧡 Josh Hart’s High Protein Burrito and Mikal Bridges’ High Protein Bowl are also available nationwide as limited-time digital menu items on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. A big thanks to our crew for making this one to remember. 🌯🏆

Stephanie Cates reacted on thisThis has been one of the most exciting projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on at Chipotle so far. It’s been incredible getting a peek behind the scenes and watching Tia and this team cook — turning a fan-favorite comeback into something much bigger and creating an incredible experience for our guests and fans. Cheers to Boorito season! 🎃🌯🍹Stephanie Cates reacted on thisOur fans have been begging us to bring back the long-lost Chipotle margarita for YEARS. So naturally… we summoned it from the dead 👻 The result? The Summon the Spirits Tour: a five-city comeback bringing the iconic marg back to 5 haunted restaurants for a good time, not a long time. The best part? Figuring out how to make the return feel bigger than a menu item. We took years of fan nostalgia and built a whole world around it, tapping into otherworldly visuals, spells, eerie city moments and IRL experiences to turn authentic demand into a cultural moment made for Halloween. And the party's just getting started… pull up for Boorito on Halloween! 🎃 Huge shoutout to the incredible team who helped bring this one to life: Kirby Ann (Connell) Molinari Erin Carson Madie Bigcas Lex Cluer, MBA Fernando Machado Stephanie Sotelo Perdue Erin Wolford Sally Evans Sachin Hejeebu Jonathan Braddock Luther Bob Chen Kevin McCulloch Kelly Wisner Emma Conway Ring Courtney Babbin Charell Strong Schuyler Higgins Lauren H. And I still spent two minutes this morning looking for my phone while holding it. 🔎 Technology is amazing. Human execution remains undefeated. 🙏 #ShawnMilliron #AI #Technology

Stephanie Cates reacted on thisStephanie Cates reacted on thisAfter 40 years in technology—most recently leading software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and AI work—I’ve decided to retire from Nationwide. I’m proud of what we accomplished at Nationwide and grateful for the colleagues and leaders I’ve worked with over the years. The teams and individuals I've had the privilege to work with are amazing, and I will miss them more than words can convey. Beyond my time in corporate IT, my service on nonprofit boards in finance and executive roles has given me a strong appreciation for sound governance and long-term planning. As I step into this next phase, I plan to focus on board positions, advisory roles, and select consulting—particularly around IT modernization, security, AI strategy, and organizational planning. I look forward to staying active in the technology community and working with organizations where my operational experience can be useful. To my friends and colleagues across the industry: thank you for a great run at Nationwide. Let's stay in touch.

Stephanie Cates reacted on thisStephanie Cates reacted on this11 years at Chipotle. 🌯❤️ 🥑 It’s hard to capture 11 years in one post—but the word that comes to mind is grateful. My journey started in our restaurants. I grew as a Field Leader in Chicago, became Regional Training Manager for the Central North Region and Canada, and eventually moved to our Restaurant Support Center, where I now serve on the Workforce Management team to help build tools, processes, and programs that support our restaurant teams doing the work that is at the heart of our purpose. I have had opportunities to learn, lead, make mistakes, try again, continue my education, and contribute to work that reaches thousands of people every day. Different roles. Different teams. Different chapters. But one constant: the amazing people. I’m grateful for the leaders who took a chance on me, the mentors who challenged me, the teammates who became friends, and the restaurant teams who continue to teach and inspire me. Chipotle has given me opportunities to grow in ways I never imagined when I started 11 years ago. I’m proud of where we’ve been, grateful to have played a small part in the journey, and genuinely excited about what’s ahead for this amazing brand. 11 years later, I’m still learning, still growing, and still excited for what's next. Here’s to our next chapter at Chipotle. 🙌 🌯 #Chipotle #WorkAnniversary #Leadership #Growth #RestaurantOperations #WorkforceManagement

I'm not formally trained in Change Management, but I know a thing or two about it. Why? Because I've been at the root of a lot of technical change in organizations. In this clip, I explain to Griffin Lickfeldt (now a Microsoft MVP!) my extremely effective approach to change management. The clip is from episode 57 of #PowerTalks (hosted by Griffin): https://lnkd.in/enjAfUvB Are you in change management? What's your secret sauce? Would you endorse my process? Leave a comment below 👇🏿

Business transformation through technology advances often fail due to lack of coordination versus the technology itself. I occasionally hear people refer to change as if it’s a single initiative: adopt AI, modernize a platform, launch a new capability. In reality, transformation happens across many systems and product teams, each with its own roadmap, priorities, and constraints. The most significant, meaningful changes aren’t about replacing or enhancing one system. It’s about aligning many while they’re all still in the process of delivering. Here are the challenges I see when looking across an organization: • Finding shared intent across independent teams • Designing change that respects existing commitments • Creating architectural direction without slowing momentum AI is an obvious tool that will help transform business capabilities, but only when systems, ownership, and roadmaps are aligned around a common outcome. Progress doesn’t come from moving fast alone. It comes from moving together. #BusinessTransformation #AI #EnterpriseArchitecture #SolutionArchitecture #SystemsThinking

Early lesson in this role: leadership starts with listening. Stepping into a new environment, the first responsibility isn’t fixing. It’s understanding how work happens, where friction shows up, and what people have been carrying quietly. The better I listen, the better the technology decisions become. #Leadership #TechnologyLeadership #ChangeManagement

Every day in this role, I’m reminded that technology isn’t just about systems — it’s about people. The best upgrades, the smartest integrations, the cleanest data… none of it means anything if it doesn’t make life easier for the teams who show up and run these stores every day. That’s the heart of modernization at Steak Escape Sandwich Grill. Not chasing shiny tools, not stacking features we don’t need — but building a foundation our people can trust. Something stable. Something scalable. Something that grows with us, not against us. Future-focused leadership means asking different questions: What will our operators need six months from now? How do we simplify instead of complicate? How do we build systems that give clarity instead of noise? How do we make technology feel like a teammate, not a headache? The transformation we’re working on isn’t just technical — it’s cultural. It’s about making sure every franchisee, every store, every manager, every employee knows they’re not navigating the modern restaurant world alone. We solve problems together. We adapt together. We move forward together. And the truth is, the most meaningful upgrades we’ll ever make won’t be in the software — they’ll be in the way we support each other as we grow. That’s what keeps me motivated. Not just fixing today’s issues, but building tomorrow’s stability. Not just rolling out systems, but strengthening the people who run them. Modernization isn’t a project. It’s a partnership. And it’s the future we’re building — one steady step at a time.

Your team member missed the third deadline this month. You ask: "How can I help?" They give you that look. Half frustration, half exhaustion. "I'm fine. Just need to focus." The conversation ends. The real problem stays buried. 1️⃣ Why This Falls Flat "How can I help?" dumps the emotional labour on them. They're already struggling to figure out what's wrong. Now they have to diagnose it AND create your action plan. It sounds supportive. It feels like you're checking a box. 2️⃣ The Question That Actually Works "What's the hardest part about this for you?" → No expectation they have answers ready → Permission to share what's really happening → Focus on their experience, not your solutions → Opens the door for actual connection 3️⃣ What Changes Same team member, different question: You: "What's the hardest part about this for you?" Them: "I keep second-guessing everything. Every decision feels like it could derail the whole project. I'm spending more time thinking than doing." Now you understand. It's not time management. It's confidence. You can't "help" someone out of that. But you can support them through it. 4️⃣ When to Use These Instead → "What's weighing on you right now?" (when they seem overwhelmed) → "What would need to change for this to feel manageable?" (when they're drowning) → "What's your gut telling you about this?" (when they're overthinking) Your job isn't fixing them. It's understanding them first. 💬 What's the most honest answer someone's given you to one of these questions? ➕ Follow me (Maxime Saporta) for more on building real connection with your team
