Elaina D'Agostino shared thisIt was truly remarkable seeing Sanjay Bhakta (Chief Product & Technology Officer) on stage as a Keynote speaker at AWS re:Invent this year! I managed Condé Nast as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) client for 5 years, beginning in 2020, when their transformational journey on AWS began. Listen to what we accomplished: - Global consolidation into a single content platform on AWS - Editorial team collaboration - AI ready data strategy - Real time analytics for events & live streaming (We streamed the first live event, the Met Gala, in May 2021. Since then the Met Gala had 54% more engagement then the Grammy Awards, 400% more engagement then the Golden Globes, 522% more engagement then the Super Bowl!) - Personalized subscription flows - Personalization that grew audiences, increased loyalty, & increased time spent on digital properties - Reduced operational costs by over $10M with consolidation on AWS - Shifted from being print centric to a modern digital business (Flipped revenue to 70% digital and 30% print) - Created the groundwork for a global financial system & a global HR system - AI powered Contracts Management & Rights Clearance System (Reducing rights clearance workflow from weeks to minutes!) - AI powered content moderation system "Print is what defined us, digital expanded us, and now AI and data has transformed us, and continues to transform us." It takes a village! Thanks to everyone involved in this journey: Sanjay Bhakta Vikram Palicherla Christopher Donnellan Edward Distel Stephen Teitelbaum John V. Elaina D'Agostino reposted thisElaina D'Agostino reposted thisBuilding AI is better with a team. That's why we're opening more AWS GenAI Lofts in tech hubs this year, from San Francisco, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, Osaka and beyond. These spaces bring together local AI communities, technical experts, and startup founders who are shaping the future of GenAI. Developers will have access to practical workspace, technical help, and opportunities to connect with others tackling similar challenges. We’re excited about bringing the community together. I hope you can check out a space near you. https://lnkd.in/gWAxNF5q

Elaina D'Agostino reposted thisElaina D'Agostino reposted thisAgentic AI is the future of AI innovation, and we think it has the potential to be the next multi-billion dollar business at Amazon Web Services (AWS). One of the many amazing capabilities in this space is multi-agent collaboration on Amazon Bedrock, which is now generally available to customers. Think of it like assembling your AI dream team, where specialized agents work together seamlessly to tackle complex challenges that no single AI agent could handle alone. We're already seeing customers use this technology to transform businesses spanning from financial analysis to healthcare operations. And this is just the beginning of what's possible with agentic AI. https://lnkd.in/dm28Runb

Elaina D'Agostino shared thisThe 2025 AWS Publishing Symposium was a success! I want to personally thank Christopher Donnellan for sharing his vision to improve Condé Nast's content and media rights management for the last 20+ years and how we at AWS helped him make his vision come to life with generative AI. The goal of the engagement with Condé Nast was to centralize their digital assets and associated rights globally for both digital and print media. The solution provided a portal for searching relevant assets along with providing clarity on usage rights. This leveraged #GenAI for contract interpretation and standardization of legal artifacts, as well as natural language searching.Elaina D'Agostino shared thisThe 2025 AWS Publishing Symposium in NYC has gone to press and it was a great success with more than 200 in attendance and three great panels talking about the future of publishing and generative AI. There's so much to share, but it'll take me a few days to reflect. What's clear is that there are real challenges to using generative AI--like the problem of attribution and the operational challenge of using AI to scale the abilities of your authors and editors while always having a human in the loop. What is clear is that there is real value to be gained from generative AI, as evidenced by the experiences of publishers and aggregators like Axios, Business Insider, Cengage Group, Condé Nast, EBSCO Information Services, The Johns Hopkins University Press, JSTOR, Wiley, the New York Post and The Washington Post. Many thanks again to our supporting partners who made the event possible: Arc XP, Glide Publishing Platform, Impelsys, Slalom, and Vercel.

Elaina D'Agostino shared thisLast week was truly incredible at #AWSreInvent! I had the opportunity to be on the AWS re:Invent Keynote stage with Amazon leaders Greg Pearson, Francessca Vasquez, and Ruba Borno. It was an honor to have my customer Kurby Brown Jr., Senior Director of Security and Compliance of Turnitin, a global company dedicated to ensuring the integrity of education, share his approach on such an important and complex topic - security in the cloud. Tim Frank, Chief Revenue Officer of Ahead, and Yinon C., Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Wiz, talked about how they worked together to build a security solution for Turnitin and how the AWS Marketplace makes procurement efficient. There were a number of product launches and groundbreaking announcements. My favorite was Amazon Nova, our new generation of foundation models. Our goal is to use AI to simplify the lives of shoppers, sellers, advertisers, enterprises, and everyone in between. These new foundation models have the ability to process text, image, and video prompts to understand videos, charts, and documents, or generate videos and other multimedia content. Thank you to our customers, builders, and partners for making this an awesome conference. Elaina D'Agostino reacted on thisElaina D'Agostino reacted on thisI’m honored to share that I’ve joined Red Hat as Vice President, North America Sales. Enterprise technology is entering one of the most consequential periods in its history. AI is accelerating transformation, hybrid cloud is becoming the operating model for modern enterprises, and technology leaders are under increasing pressure to deliver real business outcomes, not simply deploy more technology. This is where Red Hat has a tremendous advantage. Built on open source and trusted by enterprises around the world, Red Hat gives organizations the freedom to innovate, modernize, and operate across the environments that matter to their business. My focus is simple: help our customers win. That means creating more value, strengthening our partnerships, raising the bar for execution, and enabling a sales organization capable of taking Red Hat’s growth to the next level. I’m deeply grateful for my 12+ years at AWS. It was an extraordinary journey, and I’m fortunate to have worked alongside some of the best people and customers in the industry. There are far too many to name, but I’ll carry those relationships and lessons with me. And finally, a huge shout-out to the Red Hat team. The talent, passion, culture, and belief in what this company stands for are exceptional. I’m incredibly energized to be part of this team. Let’s create great outcomes together. More to come…

It has not always been easy, but it has definitely been enjoyable, challenging, and fulfilling. After all this time I still enjoy talking to developers, either 1:1 or 1:Many, at all sorts of events, including AWS Community Days all over the world. Lately I have focused on talking about the changes that AI will bring to developers, development teams, management, and applications. My message seems to be resonating with them and I plan to share it more broadly here after my next burst of travel wraps up. Many thanks to the hundreds of you that have sent your congratulations and well-wishes. I wish that I could thank you all individually, but I just can't scale up that far. Over the past twelve months the Chief Revenue Officer program has been transformative at this stage of my career. The experience challenged the way I think about leadership, collaboration, strategy, and the customer experience. The onsite sessions in Philadelphia brought it all together with fellow students from all over the globe and my incredible program cohort. Thank you to the professors who made every session count: Raghu Iyengar, Nicolaj Siggelkow, Prasanna "Sonny" Tambe, and Henning Piezunka. To my program mentor Yeeli L., thank you for your guidance throughout the journey. And to Anthony Angell and Melissa Schoendorf at AWS, thank you for sponsoring my participation and investing in my growth. I'm lucky to work for an organization, and people, that back its leaders this way. #WhartonExecutiveEducation #WhartonCRO

Elaina D'Agostino liked thisThis was a humbling moment that we were able to share with amazing Amazon Web Services (AWS) APN partners. Raising money to help support families suffering with children’s cancer and sickle cell is one of the most worthwhile endeavors a person can participate in. I personally want to thank Ken Constantino for inviting the AWS Duke Classic Supporters including: Matt Mahier from Caylent , Kevin Macfarlane from AllCloud, Eric Lurie from zeb, Bobby Bishop from Mission, a CDW Company , Stephanie Dunn, MBA from Innovative Solutions and Scott Gray from RapidScale. Your charitable giving to EMBRACE KIDS FOUNDATION has had an incredible impact on people’s lives. A heartfelt thank you to all. God bless you.Elaina D'Agostino liked thisFriday was a powerful moment for Embrace Kids. The Nasdaq bell ringing wasn’t just symbolic — it was a celebration of 35 years of impact and 25 years of the Duke Classic’s legacy, brought together on a global stage. It was my honor and I am truly humbled to represent Embrace Kids and the families we serve. I was proud to stand alongside family, colleagues, business partners, fellow board members and longtime supporters — many of whom have been with us since the very first Duke Classic. Celebrating both Embrace 35 and Duke 25 at Nasdaq made the moment unforgettable. What makes this mission so meaningful are the families we support. Since 1991, Embrace Kids has: > Helped 3,800+ children and families with financial, emotional, academic, and community support. >Established the Pediatric Oncology Chair at Rutgers Cancer Institute to strengthen clinical leadership. >Funded the first pediatric bone marrow transplant program in New Brunswick, expanding lifesaving care. >Raise over $1 million through the Duke Classic since 2002, fueling direct support for families year after year. >Invested $1.5M annually into programs that meet families’ real‑world needs. > Delivered an 85% mission fulfillment rate, ensuring donor dollars drive measurable impact. This is the momentum we’re carrying forward. If you want to be part of what’s next, join us at this year’s Duke Classic, the Embrace Kids Gala, or any of our upcoming events. Your support lifts families and fuels the mission for the next 35 years. https://lnkd.in/gJh7BbXt Grateful for everyone who continues to believe in this work. #EmbraceKids #ChildhoodCancer #FamiliesFirst #CommunityImpact #Nasdaq #BellRinging #Embrace35 #DukeClassic25 #DukeClassic #GiveBack #FundraisingForGood #SupportFamilies #Philanthropy #Leadership #ImpactDriven #NewJersey #NYCCommunity

I am incredibly grateful for the mentors and leaders who invested in me, the AWS sellers and Amazon teams I partnered with, and—most importantly—the opportunity to help AWS customers navigate their cloud journey. In this next chapter, I look forward to working at the intersection of OpenAI and AWS to enable organizations—from financial services to enterprises of all kinds— to make AI an integral part of how they operate, grow and scale. The cloud changed how businesses operate. AI is about to do it again, and I am excited to be part of what comes next! 🚀

🚨 IBM just acquired Confluent for $11B — and the data streaming world will never be the same. AI agents need live, contextual data to function. That's why real-time streaming isn't a niche capability anymore, it's the backbone of enterprise AI. But here's the catch: with one company now controlling the dominant commercial Kafka platform, vendor lock-in is a very real risk. Now is the time to ask hard questions about flexibility and your long-term streaming strategy. We're shifting from data at rest to data in motion, is your stack ready? 💬 Win for enterprise data, or warning sign for the ecosystem? Drop your thoughts below. #Kafka #DataStreaming #IBM #Confluent #AgenticAI #DataEngineering #RealTimeData
