I've worked with artists who have world-class work and no words for why it matters. I've worked with nonprofits who serve their communities beautifully, but sound like everyone else. I've worked with brands who want to fund culture authentically, and don't know how to talk with artists instead of at them. The work is rarely the problem. The language is. I talked about this with Rob Lee on The Truth In This Art. Language is the most overlooked tool in cultural strategy: what signals threat, and what actually connects us. Full episode in comments. If your grant, your pitch, or your website isn't saying what you mean, that's what the Narrative Session is for. One focused session, a written framework you keep. Where it goes from here is up to you.

Today, I’m introducing the new logo for Third Space Narrative. The mark brings three distinct forms into relationship. Each remains visible. None disappears into the other. The space created between them represents the third space: where lived experience, community knowledge and institutional systems meet. That meeting is rarely simple. Stories can be heard but never shape a decision. Communities can be consulted but never shown what changed. Institutions can hold evidence and still miss its meaning. Third Space Narrative works in that gap. We help organisations: • listen before defining the problem • translate community intelligence without flattening it • connect story with strategy, governance and action • make responsibility and return part of the storytelling process A new logo does not prove the work. It makes our commitment clearer: People should recognise themselves in the stories carried about them. Decision-makers should understand what those stories require. Value should return to the people whose knowledge made the work possible. This is the identity we will carry forward. Third Space Narrative Where community story becomes system strategy. #ThirdSpaceNarrative #StrategicNarrative #NarrativeGovernance #CommunityIntelligence

Your business isn't growing, and I might know why. It could be one of two things: You’re ashamed of what you do, or you haven’t positioned your business properly to attract the right customers. Let’s talk about the first one. A lot of business owners struggle to tell people what they do. They’re afraid of what their friends might think, what people might say, or whether their business looks “big enough.” It’s almost like walking into a room full of people and thinking: "What will these people think about the clothes I'm wearing?" But here's the funny thing: Those same people are probably thinking about what others are wearing too. Most people aren't thinking about you as much as you think they are. So, stop hiding your business. You can't build a business quietly and expect people to magically discover you. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell your colleagues. Talk about what you do. Put your work out there. The second problem is positioning. You can have a great product, but if your business doesn't look like it's worth buying from, people may never give you the opportunity. Think about this: Two people sell a bag of oranges. Seller A puts the oranges in an ordinary black nylon bag. Seller B packages the same oranges in a properly branded package with their business name, contact details, and a presentation that makes the product memorable. Who do you think is more likely to get referrals, build recognition, and attract repeat customers? I'll leave that answer for you. This is why IDentity isn't just a creative brand. We help businesses communicate who they are and position themselves properly through: Brand Identity & Logo Design Packaging Design Flyer & Social Media Design Content & Reels Because sometimes, your business doesn't need a better product. It needs better positioning and better visibility. If you're ready to give your business the positioning it deserves, click the link and book a project with IDentity. Let's give your business an identity that people can recognize, remember, and trust. #BrandIdentity #Branding #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #PersonalBranding #CreativeBusiness #Marketing #PackagingDesign #GraphicDesign #ContentMarketing #BusinessStrategy #IDentity https://lnkd.in/eEnCn5Bc

Traditional conferences often fail to create lasting connection. So what's the alternative? How do we design gatherings for what happens after the event ends? In a new conversation, veteran event producer Brad Nye and The Gathering’s Victor Vorski explore the shift from passive audiences to active co-creation. With decades of experience, Brad shares what drew him to a participatory model that values emergence over rigid programming. The discussion moves between the practical and the philosophical, touching on: - Creating a “trust field” where new projects, or “idea babies,” can be born. - The responsibility of organisers to make in-person time truly meaningful, given its cost in time, money, and carbon. - Why the ancient fire circle is a powerful metaphor for the future of how we connect. - Blending deep in-person experience with technology that helps relationships and projects continue afterward. This is a great reflection for anyone who designs events, builds communities, or seeks to turn fleeting encounters into meaningful collaboration.
