Great energy and conversation this morning at Clifton Park Center for the Inside Clifton Park/Halfmoon event hosted by the Capital Region Chamber As Chair of Chamber of Southern Saratoga, it was a privilege to bring together local business owners, community leaders, and elected officials for an open discussion on the vision, growth, and long-term opportunities shaping our region. Our panel with Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett, Halfmoon Town Supervisor Kevin Tollisen, and Chamber President & CEO Mark Eagan highlighted the strength of our local economy and the shared priorities driving our communities forward. Both Supervisors offered great insights into supporting local businesses, addressing municipal growth, and ensuring our region remains an exceptional place to live, work, and invest. We also took a special moment to recognize Supervisor Phil Barrett for his remarkable 26 years of service to the Town of Clifton Park. Phil’s steady leadership, commitment to responsible growth, and collaborative approach have left a lasting positive impact on our entire community, and we are deeply grateful for his dedication over the years. Thank you to the event sponsors, Ballston Spa National Bank and Ellis Medicine. We were also honored to be joined by NYS Senator Jim Tedisco, NYS Assemblymember Mary Beth Walsh, and Colleen Williams representing US Congressman Paul Tonko. It’s this spirit of strong regional partnership and forward-thinking leadership that makes Southern Saratoga County such a thriving community to do business in. #Collaborate #EmbraceBusinesses #KeepResidentTaxesLow

Raise the Region 2026 was one for the books! Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor Mark Eagan and Mona Golub as our Beacon of Light Honorees. Seeing so many friends, neighbors, and community leaders come together made the day even more special. For decades, Mark and Mona have given their time, talent, and leadership to make the Capital Region stronger for all of us. They show us what it means to live for the sake of others, and they light the way for our whole community. Their work is a reminder of why the nonprofit and impact sector matters so much. Nonprofits are the neighbors who feed families, support students, care for our seniors, and bring people together through arts and culture. They fill gaps, spark opportunity, and make the Capital Region a place where people can thrive. Philanthropy, business, and community partnerships help make that work possible, and this room was proof of the good we share. Since 1968, the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region has worked alongside donors and partners to strengthen our community for today and for generations to come. To our honorees, sponsors, guests, and supporters: thank you for helping us Raise the Region. Photo Credit: Jayana LaFotos #RaiseTheRegion #CapitalRegion #CommunityFoundation John Eberle
