We are focused on stablecoins and other alternative payments, but I think we are missing the boat on one of the biggest disruptors in interchange and payments. Pay By Bank is likely to have a much more significant impact. As more and more merchants adopt Pay by Bank capability, they will incentivize customers to move from cards to Direct pay from checking. Some members were locked out of accounts, including 401(k) plans. Here's what's been quiet: America's Credit Unions. TruStage touches an enormous share of the credit union system. When something this size has a security incident, the operational fallout doesn't stay with the vendor, it lands on credit unions and their compliance teams. I think our trade association should be helping translate that into next steps, not staying silent while institutions manage it on their own. I wrote up the full timeline, the case for ACU speaking up, and what this means for your own vendor risk program, including a free Incident Response documentation form pre-filled with the public facts of this event. To my fellow Psi Class members: thank you for making this experience so special. Each of you brought something unique to the journey; different perspectives, experiences, talents, and personalities that made our class truly exceptional. I am grateful for the friendships, conversations, laughs, and support we shared along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to learn and grow with. A huge thank you Mandy Humme for putting up with me for 3 years, I couldn't ask for a better team member on this journey! A heartfelt thank you to the WCMS staff, faculty, and volunteers who work tirelessly to create an experience that is both educational and unforgettable. The memories, lessons, and connections made over these past three years will stay with me for a lifetime. To Vantage West Credit Union, thank you for believing in me and investing in my professional development. Your support and commitment to continuous learning made this achievement possible, and I am proud to represent an organization that encourages growth and leadership.
