I'm excited to share that I've joined my friend and co-founder Spencer Haik to launch Vault Funeral Tech. Vault is a B2B marketplace connecting funeral vendors across the U.S. with independent and small-chain funeral homes. We are building Vault to streamline and modernize the industry—making purchasing easier, product offerings better, and profit margins stronger. I'm excited by the early momentum we’re seeing and looking forward to the journey ahead!

Had a lot of great conversations with funeral directors and owners over the past couple days. We appreciate everyone who stopped by the booth and shared how they’re thinking about procurement, margins, and day-to-day operations. A few consistent themes came up: 1. Pressure on margins is real and getting tighter 2. Ordering still takes more time than it should in most cases 3. Small operational improvements can actually move the needle a lot over a year We’re following up with everyone we met, and I’m looking forward to continuing those conversations. This continues to expand selection across urns, equipment, and back-of-house supplies, with more vendors coming on each month. I grew up in and around funeral homes through my dad’s casket distribution business in Missouri. I’ve seen firsthand how much time gets wasted navigating fragmented vendors, pricing, and logistics.
