Scoutmasters serve the youth of their troop by providing mentoring to the boys participating in the program, specifically the senior leadership - the Senior Patrol Leader and his assistant. The Scoutmaster coordinates with and reports to the troop committee and is responsible to carry out the troop program through the Scouts.
