Whether he’s on the beach volleyball court or in the office, Winder is a master of defence. He’s working hard to keep EDL safe from cyber security threats, protecting our people and our operations. He’s also a great team player on the beach volleyball court, having represented at a state and national level in the Masters and Grand Masters Division. With fifteen years of experience in cyber security roles, Winder is able to combine technical expertise with strategic planning to protect EDL’s critical infrastructure and support our business growth. Winder is energised by solving complex challenges and helping EDL to navigate ever-evolving cyber threats. “I enjoy bringing together people, processes and technology to protect the business while enabling growth and innovation,” said Winder. “It’s rewarding to work with such a great team and see EDL’s cyber resilience grow stronger, knowing we are supporting the secure operation of our energy infrastructure,” he said. Outside of work, Winder keeps busy with his beach volleyball team as they train for their next competition and also enjoys design and woodwork.
