- ๐ #Venezuela: Families affected by the earthquakes are facing more than damaged homes. With tourism halted and fishing disrupted, many in places like Chichiriviche de la Costa have lost their main source of income. WFP is providing food assistance to help meet immediate needs
- ๐จ#DRCongo: Ebola is now affecting 48 health zones across five provinces. WFP is scaling up food assistance, logistics and air services to help contain the outbreak. So far, teams have delivered more than 160,000 hot meals at treatment and isolation centres and operated 495
- ๐จ The Ebola crisis is also a hunger crisis. In eastern #DRCongo, affected families are facing conflict, displacement, and hunger. WFP continues delivering food assistance and moving health workers and supplies to hard-to-reach areas.
