The next question after “can we record this?” is “who should receive it?” That question belongs in the product experience. A useful workflow makes the intended recipient, the relevant material and the purpose of sharing clear. For Proja AI, Rekkord's distinction between internal drafts and shared records is a concrete example. Different stages of work call for different visibility. Explore the product's data-handling information and consider where your own process needs clearer sharing decisions. https://lnkd.in/eYNzj7tP #ProjaAI #SoftwareDevelopment #ProductDesign

Picture this. An employee is using one of their company-wide AI tools. They give it a single prompt for a simple answer, an assist to find necessary information. They receive their answer, and they do it again an hour later on a different task. Two prompts, two uses of an AI agent. That should not be many tokens, right? But that is not how it works, it is not a 1 to 1 exchange. Instead, advanced models utilize a massive amount of unseen internal "thinking tokens" before they return the final answer. The AI loops endlessly to solve the problem, burning through tokens like wildfire. These hidden tokens, shadow AI, are costing enterprises millions of dollars, debilitating annual AI budgets in just months. Okta addresses these hidden shadow AI costs with Okta for AI agents. By narrowing down an AI Agent to precisely what it is authorized to use with no extra, unnecessary access, it drops token costs by roughly 90%. The AI agent still successfully performs its task, but without unnecessary spend. Shadow AI is both a security risk and a drain on the budget. By scoping an AI agent's access down to what it is actually authorized to access, you kill two birds with one stone. The more I learn about AI, the more I realize that trusting AI really starts with trusting the data behind it. You can have really powerful AI, but if the information going in isn’t accurate, how much are you actually going to trust the decisions coming out? 😅 That’s been a big takeaway for me recently. There’s a lot of excitement around what AI can do, but I’m also learning how important it is to understand the limitations and make sure the right foundation is there first. This article from Dennis Kozak really connected with a lot of what I’ve been learning since starting at Ivanti. AI and automation have a ton of potential, but that potential means a lot less if you can’t trust what’s happening behind the scenes. Definitely worth checking out if you’re thinking about where AI is going. 👇

Everyone is asking how to adopt AI. Fewer are asking a more important question: Can you trust the data AI is making decisions from? In this Forbes article, Ivanti CEO Dennis Kozak highlights why AI success starts with a trusted system of record. As IT environments become increasingly fragmented, organizations need a single source of truth that provides the context, accuracy, and governance required for confident, AI-driven decision making. https://lnkd.in/e7Suvwbq #AI #EnterpriseAI #CIO #CISO #ITOperations #DataAuthority #AutonomousEndpointManagement #DigitalTransformation
