Volunteer Experience

  • Volunteer

    Church Food Bank

    - Present 18 years 8 months

    Children

It is an important part of my life, a lot of fun to serve there. Getting to know many people. The most important is feeling blessed to see the faces of the people doing this volunteering for, seeing their faces and showing how grateful they because many are going through some dire times. I look forward to Thursdays at the Church Food Bank.

  • Major Disaster Recovery of First American's Phoenix Data Center

Riser room water leakage flooded the data-center room and brought down well over 1000 servers of Windows and Linux platforms as well as all network devices, sans, telephony systems, ups, HVAC support. The 8 states affected were AZ, NV, UT, NM, CA, MI, TX, and OK. I was in charge to get all necessary electricians, water damage restoration services, & infrastructure & telecom personnel. I was also responsible on bringing all servers back on-line. All necessary data-center resources were up…

The 8 states affected were AZ, NV, UT, NM, CA, MI, TX, and OK. I was in charge to get all necessary electricians, water damage restoration services, & infrastructure & telecom personnel. I was also responsible on bringing all servers back on-line. All necessary data-center resources were up and running Sunday night, the following work day of Monday morning they were small issues but for the most part no end-user systems downtime had occurred.
Datacenter Flood dates>>06/20/2008 to 06/22/2008 about 99-98% of the systems were fully available to all end-users and other customers (3rd party end-users).
