Tony Dale posted thisFreedom and the hand of God: It was Thomas Jefferson who penned the words, "we hold these truths to be self-evident." I understand that Bejamin Franklin may have suggested the words "self-evident" as a replacement for Thomas Jefferson's original "sacred and undeniable." Either way, the meaning is clear. It is built into the heart of people to desire freedom. Look at Iran. For almost 5 decades the Iranian people have been under the hand of the Ayatollah's. That started in a similar revolution against the Shah and his repression. What a blessing that this time, after experiencing half a century of the repressive nature of the Ayatollah's brand of freedom, that the people of Iran have had the courage to again make the choice for themselves. This has led me to reflect on the nature of revolutions and the long-term impact of the heart's cry for "freedom." In the 20th Century, the cry for freedom expressed itself in the so-called "revolution of the proletariat." But communism, with its foundation of atheism and hatred for God, proved to be possibly the most blood-thirsty expression of "freedom" that has ever been hoisted on the human race. It mirrored the rationalism of the French revolution As far as I can see, only one type of revolution has consistently led people towards an on-going and truly liberating freedom, and that is the revolution of love that Jesus released on the world when He showed us the reality that "herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and gave Himself as the substitution for our sins." His followers over the past two thousand years have been far from perfect. Some were as bad (and as blood-thirsty!) as some of the revolutions touched on above. But the overall trend of this revolution of love has been the emergence of what is generally known as the Judeo-Christian tradition, which, as flawed as it is, still appears to be the best reflection of the cry of all human hearts for freedom. I rejoice with the Iranian people in their cry for freedom, and I am so encourage that the current representation of the American impact on the world is shown in its President's willingness to stand with these dear people in their time of need. Again, as Jefferson put it in the Declaration of Independence, "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness". Long live the revolution!

As many of you may have seen in the news, devastating flash floods have hit our own backyard in the Texas Hill Country, claiming the lives of at least 82 people and leaving dozens more still missing. Among the hardest hit is Camp Mystic in Kerr County, where at least 27 children and counselors tragically lost their lives, and 11 remain unaccounted for. These events are heartbreaking and deeply personal for many in our community. At Health Admins, we believe in taking action when our neighbors are in need. In response to this tragedy, we are launching a company-wide fundraising initiative to support the victims and their families. As a result, industry experts are forced to develop new measures to fill the gap. This book outlines all the factors that are needed to come up with such measures. It is better to develop institutions that will invest in health and longevity. In turn, this would ensure that there is equal give and take. I credit Dr. Firouz Daneshgari for coming up with such profound solutions to this problem.
