Patrick Gloer liked thisPatrick Gloer liked thisI have spent most of my 42 year career in some facet of the Telecommunications sector. 18 years ago today I started my time with TEC. It has been an interesting time. I have made a lot of friends, had great teams to work with, seen co-workers come and go. I worked for a few different bosses over the years. We have had times of no growth, slow growth and explosive growth. I have seen it go from a 102 year old family business to becoming part of a fairly large national company. I have been part of taking it from a predominantly copper DSL company to a real time fiber player. We have built a lot of projects and have a bunch more out in front of us. I have had the opportunity to mentor some great up and coming leaders and really enjoy that part. I have had a lot of people take time to mentor me along the way. One constant has been change and I know that will always be the case. I am thankful for my time at TEC and look forward to a few more years doing this. I have great people working with me solving problems together. I have great vendor partners many of which have become friends too. I have learned a lot here and hope to continue to learn more in the coming years. Thanks to Joe Piro for seeing me as a fit and to James Garner for bringing me into this team and to the many others that have worked with me to make this a success.

I am grateful for the amazing team at USIC and friendships made across the industry. I wish everyone at USIC the best and look forward to watching their continued success. Monday begins a new chapter, as my wife and I will be relocating to the Houston area. I am joining Inframark (an Azuria Water Solutions Company) as SVP - MUDs Operations. My wife has been such a supportive partner in these journeys, that have taken us to 5 States now since getting married 25yrs ago, this year. We are excited for this next adventure.
