We owe it to all those whose bodies will never be found or returned, and all those parents/loved ones whose lives will never be the same, and all those who will suffer unspeakable acts of evil in prison – to continue this fight. ***Please REPOST/SHARE with your network!*** If not on LinkedIn, then where? Milad Naseri posted thisAs the new year kicks in, you can start with a new you. Job hunting can be daunting, but in fact it is the best position you can be in: you are in possession of the most unique product in the world, and you need ONLY ONE interested taker. Practice #mindfulness and control your anxiety and believe in yourself :)

Milad Naseri shared thisJob hunting is difficult. Applying is terrifying. And it seems like you get rejected or not even contacted 99.9% of the time. But there are a couple of things here: 1. Remember that not everyone has to like you. You are a salesperson trying to sell the only copy of a product: you. you only need one buyer. The rest are missing out. 2. As with everything else, you can make your life easier by doing the legwork upfront: build a network, study the market, write the right resume. 3. Ask for help. On that vein, let me know if you need help!

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐯𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂#: 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡? Sometimes we need to define types that don’t contain complex behavior and are simply meant to hold data. These are often referred to as 𝐏𝐎𝐃 (Plain Old Data) types. Implementing such types with a regular class can become repetitive: you define fields, write a constructor, assign parameters to fields, and sometimes even implement equality members. This adds unnecessary boilerplate when all we need is a clean data container. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬? C# introduced records to solve exactly this problem. Records are designed specifically for data-holding scenarios and are extremely concise to write. By default, they are immutable, meaning once an instance is created, its properties cannot be changed. If you attempt to modify one, the compiler will warn you. This immutability is a major advantage—especially in multi-threaded applications, where preventing unexpected data changes helps avoid concurrency issues and makes the code more reliable. 𝐈𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: If your type is intended primarily to store data rather than behavior, records are often the ideal choice: Less boilerplate More readable code Built-in value-based equality Safe, immutable design (great for multi-threading) 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞… From what I've seen in real-world projects, records work especially well for: 𝐃𝐓𝐎𝐬 / 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 Do you know other scenarios where records shine? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear your perspective! #dotnet #csharp #programming #softwareengineering #step2 #cs_internship #csharp https://lnkd.in/d38X4Qep

I see detractors frustrated why their causes have been unsuccessful and the Iranians' cause has gathered global momentum. Of course Iranians have the right for a free and safe life. But the difference is that this group is culturally aligned with education, success and achievement. They might be your excellent engineering colleague, your prof or your boss. Well, this is how you effect change!

𝗚𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗿𝗮. For decades, it has helped developers store code, track progress, collaborate, and preserve a reliable history of how software evolves. Git became our 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵. But software development is changing. AI coding tools and autonomous agents are producing 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦, 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘴, 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘙𝘴, and 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘐 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘴—at a scale traditional Git-hosting architectures were never designed to handle. The system at the center of modern software development is increasingly at risk of becoming its bottleneck. This is not a new problem. Engineers have tried distributing Git’s filesystem, its objects, and its packfiles. Many promising approaches struggled with performance, consistency, or operational complexity at scale. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗚𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀. Its approach keeps compatibility with standard Git while moving the server-side source of truth to a durable write-ahead log. The result is an architecture designed to remain consistent while scaling from millions of small, agent-created repositories to heavily used enterprise monorepos. The lesson is not that Git must be replaced. It is that the infrastructure behind Git must evolve for a world in which humans are no longer the only ones writing code. Perhaps the next generation of version control will not look radically different to developers—but underneath, it will need to become far more 𝗔𝗜- 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆.
