Mike Redd liked thisMike Redd liked thisLife update: 18 months, a new home, and a new chapter... When I last shared a big update here, our family had just moved to London for a one-year adventure. That was 18 months ago. We’ve since decided to stay long term. London now feels like home, and we couldn’t be happier. Many people have asked what I’ve been working on, so I figured it was time to share. I took about a year off to travel, recharge, settle into a new country, and spend real time with my family. It has been incredible. Over the past six months, I’ve gone deep into something completely new. After years of leading teams and advising companies, I decided to start building again. Hands-on. Full-time. Using the latest AI coding tools. If you saw my earlier post about accidentally spending $900 on a “simple” AI experiment, you know how this started. That experiment turned into a full-blown project, which turned into a company. I’ve spent the last six months coding for more than 50 hours a week, learning faster than ever, and building real products with AI at the core. That work has now evolved into Larracos Labs, a small product-led technology studio creating intelligent software. The first venture is Seemor.ai, an AI-powered restaurant discovery platform that helps you actually find the right place to eat. It’s currently in private beta here in London. I’ll be sharing more soon about what I’ve been learning, both about building with AI and about rethinking how products like this come to life. According to the World Health Organization: - 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year. - 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year. - 1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year. - 50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24. - Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among people aged 10-14. #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma

Last week, it helped me reflect on the first half of the year. It surfaced where I made progress, what stalled, and where my focus had drifted. No plugins. No fancy stack. Just consistent conversations with an assistant that remembers what matters. (📸 Screenshot below) In January, I gave ChatGPT one job: help me think more strategically. The instructions were simple: - Track my goals and priorities - Hold me accountable to what matters - Capture key decisions and insights - Help me reflect and reset each week Then each week, I checked in. - Monday Morning Briefing - “What are my top 3 priorities this week?” It reflects on my goals and nudges me toward what matters. - Midweek Check-in - “Add this to our notes: pricing strategy needs a revisit.” Captured instantly. Ready for the next strategy review. - Friday Review - “How did I do this week?” It shows where I stayed aligned and where I drifted. No dashboards. No task trackers. Just an honest view of progress and where to focus next. I’ve been thinking about sharing one real-world AI workflow each week. Just practical tools, use-cases and workflows. Would that be useful?
