Jay Feitlinger shared thisI recognized myself in this one more than I'd like to admit. It's easy to ask AI to back up a decision you've already made and quietly call that validation. Sarah Shepard's flip is simple and a little uncomfortable, build your case first, then ask AI to break it before anyone else gets the chance. The decisions that survive that kind of pressure hold up a lot better later on. We're already building this into how we run our bigger calls internally. Worth two minutes. Link's below.

Jay Feitlinger reposted thisJay Feitlinger reposted thisRevenue Rewired is free on Kindle this week. It runs through Saturday, then goes back to full price. If growth strategy is something you or your team is wrestling with right now, this is a good week to grab it. Link's here: https://lnkd.in/dyVKKnTw

Jay Feitlinger shared thisA few years ago, I got frustrated reading business books that sounded great in a conference room and fell apart the second you tried to use them on a real team. That's basically why Revenue Rewired exists. Starting today, the Kindle edition is free through Saturday. Not a launch stunt, just wanted more B2B leaders to have it without a price tag getting in the way first. https://lnkd.in/gywqtTeU

Jay Feitlinger shared thisMost business leaders can name the customer they'd least want to lose instantly. Ask them to name the last customer they won who didn't already know someone at the company, and the room usually gets quiet. I've lived the version of this where a great year turned out to be a few great customers. It doesn't feel dangerous while it's happening. Then one of them gets a new CFO or gets acquired, and you find out how little was growing underneath them. This week's Revenue Rewired is about the growth number most leadership teams never run: your growth with your top three customers taken out. I'm sharing what that year taught me, what we usually see when owners split their numbers, and a five-minute test to run with your controller before next year's targets are set. None of this is an argument against loyal customers, since I want yours to stay for another 20 years. It's about knowing whether anything else in your business can create the next one. So be honest: when did your company last win a customer from scratch?Take Out Your Top Three Customers. Look Again.Take Out Your Top Three Customers. Look Again.Jay Feitlinger

Jay Feitlinger shared thisBudget season has a familiar meeting in it. Marketing brings a 2027 proposal that looks like this year's spend plus 10%, with one new channel added. Then someone asks which of this year's dollars actually turned into closed deals, and the room gets quiet. That silence tells you more than the number on the slide does. If leads went up this year and opportunities didn't, the budget isn't what's holding you back. Something between first touch and closed deal is leaking, and a bigger budget sends more buyers straight into it. When your team built this year's budget, did anyone check the conversion rates it was betting on?
-
Jay Feitlinger shared thisSarah Shepard got me with this one. I’m a person who wants to understand the why before I decide how I feel about something. 😂 But that’s not really how people work, is it? We react first, then we start building the logic around it. There’s probably something useful in remembering that, especially when we’re creating things for other people. https://lnkd.in/gGXNwpmwDoes Emotion Get the First Look and Logic Get the Last Word?Does Emotion Get the First Look and Logic Get the Last Word?Sarah Shepard
-
Jay Feitlinger shared thisThis one's going straight into how we evaluate vendors going forward. Sarah Shepard's three questions cut through the noise fast, and I've already seen how differently a real AI vendor answers those compared to one just riding the branding wave. The budget line looks identical either way. The return absolutely does not. If you're evaluating any tool with AI in the name right now, listen to this before your next call. Comments have the link.

Jay Feitlinger shared thisA good-fit buyer can hear about your company, visit your website, check your LinkedIn presence, scan your proof like case studies and still never start a conversation. Not because they disliked what they saw. Because they had to guess too much. That’s the tension in this week’s Revenue Rewired. A lot of B2B companies are known in their market but being known isn't the same as being trusted enough to convert. The uncomfortable part is that this leak usually happens before sales can see it. No stalled deal. No lost opportunity. No CRM note in HubSpot. No objection to handle. Just a qualified buyer who quietly validated and left. This week I’m unpacking the trust gap that starts before sales ever knows, and the Silent Buyer Trust Test your team can use before adding more leads. Where do you think buyers lose confidence first: website, proof, LinkedIn presence, or unclear next step?
-
Jay Feitlinger shared thisEvery forecast meeting I've ever sat in has one moment where the room gets a little too quiet. Someone asks how confident we are in the number, and for half a second nobody wants to answer first. That's usually not a sign the CRM is broken. It's a sign the pipeline is built on activity instead of commitment. A call happened, an email went out, a proposal got sent, and the deal moved forward because of it. None of that means the buyer actually agreed to anything. What's the last forecast number you presented that you weren't fully sure about?

Jay Feitlinger liked thisJay Feitlinger liked thisThere's a pattern subtle enough that people rarely catch themselves doing it. Decide first, then use AI to build the rationale for what you already believe, and that's AI reinforcing you rather than working for you. The loop works better in reverse. Make your case, then ask AI what's wrong with it, what got missed, and what would leave someone unconvinced. It stings a little more than getting easy agreement. It's also where the decisions that hold up for real come from. Full episode's in the comments if you want the whole breakdown.

Partnership Marketing… • 12K followers
Founders: most affiliate and partner programs don’t fail because of bad software. They fail because the hard part was never the software. PRM and affiliate platforms are often bought with the expectation that they create growth. Integrate the tool, invite partners, and revenue shows up. That’s rarely how it works. The real bottleneck is almost always the same: no ready-to-go, high-quality partners. Software doesn’t bring partners to the table. It only manages the ones you already have. And the right partners don’t come from marketplaces or generic invites. They already have distribution, audience trust, and leverage—and they’re selective about what they promote. Finding them is a go-to-market problem, not a tech problem. It requires: • Knowing where your buyers actually get influenced • Understanding which partners can move revenue (not vanity signups) • Crafting a partner value proposition that makes sense for them • Direct, intentional outreach Even after onboarding, partners don’t perform by default. Activation is where most programs break down. Without clear messaging, enablement, and ongoing guidance, “signed partners” turn into inactive accounts you track in a dashboard. This is the part founders often underestimate. Partner recruitment and activation is either: A capability you intentionally build into the company or A specialised function you outsource But it’s not something software replaces. The companies with successful partner programs didn’t win because they picked the best tool. They won because they invested in partner strategy, recruitment, and relationships. PRM platforms help you scale what’s working. They don’t create it. If you’re thinking about launching or fixing a partner program, ask yourself: Do we actually know how to find, recruit, and activate the right partners? If the answer is no, the software isn’t the problem. #Founders #SaaSFounders #GrowthStrategy #GoToMarket #Partnerships #AffiliateMarketing #PartnerMarketing #ChannelSales #RevenueGrowth #StartupStrategy

Everyone talks about generating leads at events. Not enough talk about what happens next. The truth? 80% of leads never get followed up. 50% of deals go to the first company that responds. The average cost per trade show lead is $811. That’s not a marketing problem. It’s a systems problem. We built momencio to close the gap between the scan and the close. This isn’t just about using AI for automation. It’s about using intelligence to drive action in the moment. If you’re investing in live events, this read will either validate what you’ve been feeling…or show you what’s finally possible. https://lnkd.in/ewYfQKrA #EventMarketing #SalesEnablement #AIinB2B #LeadCapture #RevenueAcceleration #MarketingOps

🚨 Amazon is changing the rules for external tools We are seeing a major update to the Business Solutions Agreement (BSA). Effective March 4, 2026, the new terms go live for everyone. This matters to your operation and changes how your automation tools interact with your account. 🔶 Mexico gets a separate agreement A big change for North American sellers. Amazon is removing Mexico from the US and Canada agreement. Mexico will now have its own separate BSA starting in March. This shows Amazon is treating the Mexican market with its own rules. 🔶 The End of Anonymous AI If you use AI agents or automated software, they can no longer be invisible. Amazon now requires all automated tools to identify themselves at all times. They must also stop accessing your data immediately if Amazon requests it. 🔶 New Names for Old Portals Term changes matter for your tech stack. The 'Developer Site' is now the 'Solution Provider Portal'. Amazon also added formal definitions for what they call an 'Agent'. They are drawing a hard line around who can touch your data. 🔶 New Dispute Rules Section 20 is now a separate section. It explains how to handle legal fights. This applies to every seller and every tool operating in the marketplace. 🔶 The Operator's Action Plan Do not wait until the March 4 deadline to check your tech stack. -> Audit every third-party tool you use. -> Confirm with your software providers that they comply with the new Agent Policy. -> Update your internal SOPs for data usage. Safe operation requires knowing exactly who is accessing your account and why. Are you auditing your automation tools for the March 4 deadline?

AI SDRs are changing the game for businesses that serve non-traditional B2B clients. Many tire shop owners, for example, are too busy during the day to engage with sales outreach. An AI SDR can engage with prospects during off-hours and weekends, providing a 24/7 concierge service. This ensures no lead goes cold and sales reps can focus on providing solutions instead of asking basic questions. Never lose the speed to lead game again. #AISDR #LeadGeneration #SalesTech #B2BSales #AIConcierge
