The Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry is now live on Glue Up! Chambers are at the heart of local business communities. They connect members, champion small businesses, and drive economic growth. We're honored to support the Belize Chamber as they serve their members with modern tools for engagement, events, and membership management. Welcome to the Glue Up family

Eric L. Schmidt shared thisFrom Brussels to Paris, London to Dublin, our team had the absolute pleasure of hosting our clients, partners, and future customers during our Glue Up European Roadshow this week. Building strong, lasting relationships is at the core of what we do. To everyone who attended: thank you for your time, your thoughtful discussions, and your continued trust in Glue Up. A special shoutout goes to two of our amazing existing customers for their extraordinary dedication: 🏆 Killarney Chamber of Commerce- for taking a 4-hour train ride to Dublin just to sit down and have lunch with us! 🏆 County Wexford Chamber- for making the 2.5-hour journey to join the Dublin gathering! That level of engagement, effort, and partnership inspires everything we do. Eric L. Schmidt shared thisASAE 2026 is officially in the books! Indy was a fantastic host city this year, and the Glue Up team had a blast connecting with so many customers, partners, and future customers. Of course, no major event comes without a little adventure. Our booth backdrop got lost in Chicago (United is still searching for it!), but we didn't let that slow us down. We made the most of it and kept the focus where it belongs: great conversations. While AI is top of mind for everyone looking to streamline operations, associations remain deeply focused on finding the best, most meaningful ways to engage with their members and build lasting relationships. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat with our team. See you next year in Charlotte! ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership

Eric L. Schmidt shared thisEmpowering mission-driven organizations is core to everything we do at Glue Up. It was my second conference in Nashville in two weeks and at the National Urban League Annual Conference we got to connect directly with Affiliate (chapter) CEO's and Leaders from across the country. We had the opportunity to demonstrate how our CRM membership platform is going to help local affiliates streamline operations, strengthen community connections, and scale their local impact. The National Urban League’s commitment to empowering communities is clear, and this gathering highlighted the importance of taking active, practical steps toward meaningful progress. We look forward to supporting these local leaders as they drive positive change and support the communities they serve.

Eric L. Schmidt shared thisTesting the mind and body at 10,500 feet (3,500m). When we started planning this year's Triple E Annual Adventure (Eric Warner, myself and Eric Jr), we wanted a challenge that would push ourselves. Grand Teton National Park not only gave us awesome views from above, but also a masterclass in long-term resilience. Over 3 days and 2 nights, we covered 22 miles (not so difficult for adults), climbed to 10,500 feet, and navigated technical snow crossings with steep vertical drops. When you are out there carrying everything you need on your back, navigating a high-altitude trail becomes just as much a mental test as a physical one. As a leader and a father, watching Eric Jr adapt to the thin air, manage the risks of the trail, and push through physical discomfort to summit with confidence was the absolute highlight of the trip. Grit isn’t something you can teach in a classroom or a lecture; it has to be forged by stepping outside of your comfort zone and doing hard things. What's powerful about watching Eric Jr build this kind of mental toughness now is knowing how it translates later in life. Long after we are off the mountain, the memory of pushing past perceived limits stays with you. The next time he faces a high-stakes challenge, a major setback, or a high-pressure environment in his future career or personal life, he can look back and know he has the internal bandwidth to navigate the technical terrain and keep moving forward. Whether you are building an organization or guiding the next generation on a mountain pass, true growth happens when you face the vertical drops together and push your limits. A special thanks to our friends from the McNulty Center for Leadership at the Wharton School John Kanengieter and Ginny Hutchinson Kanengieter for their help in planning this awesome adventure

Eric L. Schmidt shared thisIstanbul provided the perfect backdrop for the Glue Up AI Hackathon Part II! There is something incredibly powerful about standing in a city with thousands of years of history while building the cutting-edge technology of tomorrow. Following the success of Part I in Virginia earlier this year, our product, engineering, and customer success teams came together for an intensive 5-day sprint. Our focus? Mapping out the next generation of AI capabilities within the Glue Up ecosystem. Key take-aways from the hackathon: 1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bringing tech and customer success together in person ensures we aren't just building cool tech, but solving real-world user problems. 2. Global Impact: We are actively testing and building features designed to deliver more powerful, seamless experiences for our professional communities worldwide. 3. Future-Proofing: Accelerating our product roadmap to keep our clients ahead of the curve. A huge thank you to our teammates involved for rolling up their sleeves and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The future of community management is intelligent, and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on.

Eric L. Schmidt shared thisWe just wrapped up two incredible, back-to-back Glue Up lunch events in London and Brussels! It was a fantastic opportunity to bring together a dynamic mix of our current customers and future partners from the association sector. The conversations were centered around a shared mission: navigating a technology landscape that is evolving at breakneck speed. At Glue Up, we believe that staying ahead means thinking ahead. We are relentlessly committed to innovation, ensuring that the communities we serve aren't just keeping up with change—but actively leading the curve. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to connect, talk tech, and share a meal with us. The future of the association space is bright, and we are thrilled to be building it alongside all of you!

Eric L. Schmidt liked thisEric L. Schmidt liked thisWhy does our Glue Up leadership team make the effort to travel across cities and meet with the organisations we support? To showcase our platform? Talk about new features? Present our roadmap? Those conversations matter, but the real reason is much simpler: To listen. Data tells us what's happening, but conversations have always told us why it's happening, and that's where the ideas shaping our product roadmap begin. Our recently concluded European tour took us through Dublin, London, Brussels and Paris, giving us the opportunity to connect with associations, chambers, and member-based organisations from across Europe. It is a reminder that meaningful innovation comes from staying close to the organisations creating impact in their communities every day. My conversations with organisations in Ireland, Switzerland and across Europe continue, with many exploring how AI-powered capabilities in the Glue Up platform can help them work smarter and prepare for what’s next. We look forward to more conversations like these, meeting more leaders at future events, and continuing to evolve the Glue Up platform alongside the organisations shaping the future of member engagement. #AssociationLeadership #ChambersOfCommerce #MemberEngagement #CommunityBuilding #AI #DigitalTransformation

Eric L. Schmidt liked thisEric L. Schmidt liked thisA federation can operate as one organization while its finances tell a much more complicated story. https://lnkd.in/dtSQpYHQ Headquarters may collect national dues. Chapters may run local programs and events. Education teams may generate certification revenue. And different entities, locations, departments, or programs may require separate financial accountability, while leadership still needs an organization-wide view. That's where multi-entity association accounting becomes an operational issue, not simply an accounting configuration. Connecting Glue Up with Sage Intacct helps organizations carry financial context from association activity into accounting, supporting more structured reporting across entities and dimensions. https://lnkd.in/d4A83YUU The objective is straightforward: know where the transaction belongs without losing sight of the organization as a whole. #AssociationFinance #MultiEntityAccounting #SageIntacct #AssociationManagement #Federations #GlueUp

Eric L. Schmidt liked thisEric L. Schmidt liked thisMerhaba Türkiye! 🇹🇷 I am deeply honored and excited to announce that, as of October 1, 2026, I will be taking on the role of CEO of Nestlé Türkiye, a company with a rich heritage spanning more than 120 years. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of leading teams across the world, from France to China and from Australia to Sri Lanka. Yet I believe that Türkiye, where Europe and Asia embrace, will serve as a very special bridge in my own journey. As I take over this remarkable legacy, I would like to thank Leszek Wącirz for his visionary leadership to date and wish him every success in his new role within the Zone Europe. At the heart of my leadership philosophy has always been the belief in “growing together with local communities.” Building on our strong local footprint and local production, we will continue to strengthen Nestlé Türkiye as the company of “Good Food, Good Life” for future generations. From our factories to every corner of the country and every home, our value chain enables us to bring high-quality, safe, and market-leading products to consumers across Türkiye. As I begin this new chapter, one of my first impressions of Türkiye was how beautifully the word “Nest” at the heart of our company’s name aligns with the meaning of the Turkish word “Yuva” (Home). More than 120 years of shared history is certainly enough time to make these lands a true “home” for Nestlé. Harika ekibimizle "Tek Takım, Tek Yürek" olarak yeni başarılara imza atmak için sabırsızlanıyorum. Çünkü hepimiz çok iyi biliyoruz ki; "Burası Yuvamız"! #tektakimtekyurek #burasiyuvamiz #nestle

This week in venture deals that matter for America (#AmTech): Saronic Technologies raised $1.75 billion in Series D funding at a $9.25 billion valuation led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Advent International, Bessemer Venture Partners, DFJ Growth, BAM Elevate, 8VC, Caffeinated Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Elad Gil, and Franklin Templeton. Saronic designs and mass-manufactures autonomous surface vessels for the U.S. Navy and other defense customers. The Navy wants to make half its surface fleet unmanned, and last year awarded Saronic a $392 million production contract for its 24-foot Corsair, an unmanned vessel that costs under $2 million and can carry heavy payloads up to 1,000 nautical miles. Founders: Dino Mavrookas, Vibhav A., Doug Lambert, Rob Lehman. ThinkLabs AI, Inc. raised $28 million in Series A funding led by Energy Impact Partners, with participation from nVentures (NVIDIA), Edison International, GE Vernova, Powerhouse Ventures, Active Impact Investments, Blackhorn Ventures, Amplify Capital, and a large North American utility. ThinkLabs builds physics-informed AI "grid twin" models that help electric utilities plan and operate power grids under rising demand. Its platform can simulate 10 million grid scenarios in under 10 minutes, work that used to take engineers days or weeks. As AI data centers put new strain on the American grid, utilities need better tools to figure out where they can add load without breaking things. Founder: Josh Wong. NomadicML raised $8.4 million in funding led by TQ Ventures, with participation from Pear VC, Jeff Dean, Scott Wu and other angels and executives. Nomadic builds a spatial intelligence and visual data engine that turns raw video from autonomous vehicles and robots into structured datasets, edge case detection, and training data. As American companies race to put autonomous systems on roads and factory floors, Nomadic helps their engineering teams learn from real-world data faster. Founders: Mustafa Bal, Varun Krishnan. #VC #Startups #VentureCapital #DefenseTech #Energy #Grid #Robotics #Autonomy #AI
