In a digital illustration pilot titled Sky's The Limit, designed by Ruby Louise Lambie and Madeline Lambie, Yeah, Art!'s K–5 students at Redwood Heights Elementary learned creative technology fundamentals including pixels, masking and layering. Their original artwork was displayed atop Salesforce Tower, making them the youngest artists ever featured on the building. Thank you to NBC Bay Area for capturing this unforgettable moment and helping share what can happen when young people are given the tools to dream big. Yeah, Art! brings tech-forward arts education to Bay Area schools, bridging art and tech to create new pathways for young people. Darrell Booker liked thisDarrell Booker liked thisTomorrow is my last day with Nava. I started working at eight, shoveling sidewalks in Wisconsin winters, and I haven't really stopped since. Managing a pizza shop at fifteen, a career in government, then helping government leaders make their services simpler and more humane for the people who rely on them, as my family did when I was young. The best of those years have been the last 3+ at Nava. Sarah Frazier, MPH taught me most of what I know about paid family and medical leave and always created the space we needed to do our best work. The incredible PFML delivery teams did the quiet, unglamorous work behind the scenes. The brilliant state leaders we served trusted us with their toughest problems. I'm grateful to all of them. Then I met my son. He turns three this December, and he's my only. One morning I was rolling him to daycare while he sang a song of his own invention at full volume, and I realized I didn't want to drop him off anymore. I was surprised. I have always loved working. But once you know a thing like that, you know it. So my family and I are taking a year in Lyon, France. Our son will sing nursery rhymes at his école maternelle, my husband and I will spend our mornings in class at Université Lumière Lyon 2, and then we'll all eat lunch together and give the afternoons to exploring. I'm not consulting or keeping anything warm. My work at Nava is now in Amy Ventura's capable hands, where she’s already been leading for months. I'm just going to be his mother for a while, and find out who we all are when the schedule (mostly) goes away.

And for me, that person is you, Ricky. ❤️ You have never doubted my ability. You challenge me to keep showing up as my best self, even when I’m tired, overwhelmed, or questioning what’s next. You’re always bringing the positive vibes, reminding me, “Let’s go!” 😂 And somehow, in the middle of everything, you still make sure I’m okay. Through every season, every dream, every crazy idea, every challenge, and every “what are we doing next?” moment—you’ve been right there beside me. 16 years of marriage. 16 years of growing, learning, laughing, building, praying, and doing life together. I’m grateful for my husband, my partner, my biggest supporter, and the person who keeps reminding me that we’ve got this. Happy 16th Anniversary, Ricky! ❤️🥂 Here’s to us and to everything God still has ahead for us.
