Dantley Davis shared thisCool job alert! Come redefine IT software with Paul and the ServiceNow team! 🚀Dantley Davis shared thisWe're hiring a Director of Product Design to help us do something audacious: redefine IT service management for the AI era. If you're a design leader who: * Has led large-scale design transformations * Is obsessed with craft excellence and bold innovation * Thrives on nurturing high-trust, high-ownership teams * Can influence product strategy as a true strategic partner then we want to talk to you. Dantley Davis shared thisSharing an incredibly important product management role with my network. We are looking for a VP level leader with strong product instincts to help us shape the next generation of the ServiceNow platform.Dantley Davis shared thisI’m #hiring a VP, Product Management: AI Platform Experience at ServiceNow, and this is one of the most important product leadership roles on my team. AI is fundamentally changing how people interact with enterprise software. We’re moving from a world where humans navigate software and activate AI, to one where AI and humans collaborate to get work done. We have an opportunity to redefine the experience of ServiceNow around that shift, creating the experience platform and interaction models that can extend across every ServiceNow product and ultimately every customer. That’s the scale of this role. I’m looking for a product leader who can think big about what the next generation of AI-native enterprise experiences should be, while building the platform and frameworks that make that vision real across a large product portfolio. This person will work deeply across product, engineering, and design, influence teams across ServiceNow, and help turn an ambitious multi-year vision into the way millions of people experience enterprise software. If you want to help define what the next generation of ServiceNow and enterprise software feels like, let’s talk. https://lnkd.in/gF-Hu8VX

Dantley Davis shared thisThis week, I had the privilege of attending my first Knowledge event and it was absolutely incredible. Seeing the energy and excitement around the products our teams have been designing and building filled me with immense pride. One of the biggest highlights was meeting customers from all over the world, hearing their stories firsthand, and learning how passionate they are about creating better experiences for their employees. Their enthusiasm, optimism, and partnership made the week even more meaningful. I also had the chance to spend time with members of my amazingly talented team whose creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication continue to inspire me every day. Knowledge 26 may have been the big reveal for so many exciting new innovations, but this truly feels like the beginning. The momentum is real, the opportunity ahead is massive, and we’re just getting started.Dantley Davis shared thisKnowledge 2026 is setting the stage for our most defining year yet 🚀 Together with analysts, media, our customers, partners, and TEAM in Vegas we are reshaping the future of Agentic Business. Below are a few BIG moments from the main stage: 📦 Honored to have shared the stage with Raj Subramaniam and Vishal Talwar who are leading the world-class team at FedEx. We highlighted how we are elevating our partnership by putting AI to work across the global supply chain. 🤝 Jensen Huang, my friend and great founder of NVIDIA joined me for a powerful fireside chat. We shared our vision to bring the autonomous enterprise to life as a unified AI factory. 💡With our latest innovations we are NOW the “AI agent of agents." ServiceNow's AI Control Tower for Business Reinvention connects any model, cloud, interface, data, and system. Our customers trust our platform as the strategic defense shield for the enterprise. Dantley Davis shared thisCome work with the incredibly talented Ivy Wang at Moveworks. She’s hiring!Dantley Davis shared thisStill feeling energized after attending “From Retrieval to Autonomous Agents” event last night. Seeing the combined power of ServiceNow + Moveworks come to life in real conversations, real use cases, and real product direction was a powerful reminder of how quickly this space is evolving and how much opportunity there is to build thoughtfully within it. One area that especially stuck with me was Lin Li's talk around designing in the age of AI. Not just designing for AI but rethinking how we create experiences when systems can reason, act, and adapt in entirely new ways. It’s a shift and an exciting one. We’re at a point where the intersection of AI, product, and human-centered design really matters. And the best part? We’re building. We’re hiring across our teams, especially for people excited about shaping AI-driven experiences and solving meaningful, complex problems. Dantley Davis shared thisGrateful for the chance to spend time with our incredible ServiceNow design teams in Amsterdam and Ireland 🇳🇱🇮🇪 These visits are always energizing. From thoughtful conversations over dinner in Amsterdam to hosting AMA sessions with the entire Dublin office with Amy Lokey, I was reminded how deep the craft, curiosity, and care for customers runs across this team. We talked openly about what it means to design professional-grade experiences in an AI-native world, how we’re evolving our ways of working, and where design can push harder to shape strategy, culture, and impact. The questions were sharp, the dialogue honest, and the ambition palpable. Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared candidly, and challenged us to keep raising the bar. This is what building together looks like! It’s a privilege to do it alongside such a talented global team.

Dantley Davis reacted on thisDantley Davis reacted on thisWe are frequently faced with a choice to disrupt or be disrupted. Flow by ServiceNow is our answer to disrupt the market and help organizations move with the speed and simplicity required to stay ahead in the AI era. Flow by ServiceNow is a conversational AI-native service desk that supports a new way of working. And the setup is fast. Deployed within a day. No procurement bottlenecks. No implementation timelines. With Flow, we are meeting teams where they work: employee requests are both made and resolved directly in chat channels such as Teams or Slack. What’s more: Flow turns resolved requests into automated workflows. It helps IT teams from having to answer the same request while delivering reliable results at speed. For organizations that have hesitations about adopting enterprise ITSM software because the implementation effort outweighs their needs, Flow is a clear entry point. And you can remain confident Flow is backed by us, ServiceNow— the trusted system of action for business, with more than 100 billion workflows running on the platform each year. Check out the news: https://lnkd.in/giEFPWXY This marks the beginning of a new era for how we build and ship new products, while meeting the needs of both new and existing customers. I’m only six months (back) in at ServiceNow, and I can wholeheartedly say: I’m fired up for what’s to come. Get ready: Flow is now generally available to existing customers; new buyers in North America and EMEA are expected to get in on Flow in Q4 2026. #ServiceNow

Dantley Davis liked thisDantley Davis liked thisWhat would we build if we could rethink the service desk, from scratch, for an AI-native world? Today we launched Flow by ServiceNow, a conversational AI-native service desk designed for speed and simplicity. We started with a bold challenge: throw out the assumptions that have defined service management for decades: 💭 Why should employees have to open a portal or file a ticket? → With Flow, they ask for help where they already work, in Slack, Teams, or email, and get the request resolved right there. 💭 Why should IT teams solve the same request again and again? → Once a recurring request is resolved, turn that resolution into an automation with one click. Don’t create a solution for the same question twice. 💭 Why should getting started take weeks or months? → Flow can go live in a day. No procurement cycle. No complex setup. No waiting. Consumption based pricing. Conversation is the interface. But, resolution is what matters. Flow draws on more than two decades of ServiceNow experience, reimagined for the Fortune 500,000: companies and lean IT teams that want the power of ServiceNow, built for easy and rapid deployment. A new way of working doesn't come from an old playbook. So, we wrote a new one. We created a startup inside ServiceNow. A focused team of product managers, engineers, and designers with deep domain expertise had the ownership and freedom to build from scratch, use AI-native mindset throughout the development process, and move fast. Early customers are already seeing the value with Flow: Serenity EHS wants its team to spend time on customers, not on internal IT, HR, and operations. Flow turned the company's scattered knowledge into one conversation in Slack, so people get answers instantly instead of searching across numerous locations. Flow lets VividCharts turn questions about processes, tools, and history into a conversation instead of an email chain. Someone asks a question in Slack; Flow pulls answers from what is already documented. If it's a new issue, Flow escalates, learns, and automates for the next time. Today, Flow starts with the service desk. It won’t stop there. We see this approach extending to more use cases rapidly. Dantley Davis liked thisDantley Davis liked thisIntroducing Flow by ServiceNow, the new conversational AI service desk that can be up and running in a day. You shouldn't have to solve the same problem twice, yet it happens to so many teams every day. Password resets, access requests, policy questions, and infrastructure provisioning come in on repeat and take time away from the work that actually moves things forward. Here's how Flow changes that: 💬 Employees ask for help in Slack, Microsoft Teams, or email. No one has to hunt for a portal, fill out a form, or file a ticket. Flow answers then and there, and keeps a record. It’s conversations with receipts. ⚡ When a request is resolved correctly, you can automate that workflow with a single click, and the next time it comes up, Flow handles it automatically without needing a knowledge base article. 🔌 Flow connects to more than 100 tools you already use, and admins set the guardrails up front, so there's nothing to rebuild. ☕ Getting started takes one admin and no code, with no implementation project, no infrastructure, and no employee training. Coffee is optional. Request a first look: letsflow.ai Read the announcement: https://lnkd.in/etmKi-uQ

Most early-stage product problems aren’t design issues. They’re clarity issues. A useful PRD should help founders: 🥅 Define a clear top-line product goal 🧩 Break the product into functional parts 🔐 Capture cybersecurity requirements early (if connected) ✏️ Align teams using diagrams and schematics 🛒 Understand competitors and real differentation 🌍 Design with target markets and volumes in mind 💡 Keep decisions aligned as the product evolves I’ve written a short guide on how founders can write a PRD that actually gets used. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eJhgRX34 There's no "perfect" PRD - but some mistakes are far more expensive than others. Have you ever shipped a product without a PRD - and paid for it later? #founders #startups #productdevelopment #hardware #consumerproducts #prd

Loved this conversation with John. Recently there has been a lot of talk about what AI can do for design. But less talk about what gets lost when we skip straight to the output. That's what we discuss here. Polished ≠ considered. Fast ≠ right. A beautiful screen generated in seconds still needs someone who understands the problem deeply enough to know if it's solving the right thing. That's where UX and research stay irreplaceable. Not by competing with the tools, but by doing the thinking the tools can't. Asking the tough questions Watch below if you're navigating the pressure of keeping design meaningful right now. 👇

In roles like Product Design Director or VP of Design, there are moments when you get to shape the end-to-end process exactly as you believe it should be. Stressful at times, exciting at others, but often deeply fulfilling. Then there are moments where doing that feels like pushing inertia uphill. You can operate, but strictly within guardrails. The stress is still there, with the added layer of frustration. Recent conversations with peers reminded me of something I’ve seen many times before. These constrained moments are often the ones that force us to understand the bigger human and professional picture. Here’s what I mean. Very often, the solution to a problem feels obvious to us. A UX improvement, tech debt that needs addressing, less over-explaining to unlock execution. And yet, the proposal stalls. It gets pushed back, challenged, or quietly deprioritized. Our first assumption is usually that senior leadership understood the proposal and chose to ignore it. In my experience, that’s not always true. I’ve worked with brilliant leaders who knew how to maximize revenue, optimize adoption, and integrate complex technology. But many of them had simply never been exposed to Product Design and strategy the way we practice it. They never had to redesign a feature, remove a harmful pattern, rethink an end-to-end experience, or consider long-term brand perception as a daily responsibility. Dropping a bag of issues on their desk and expecting clarity rarely works. It adds cognitive load. Most are not dismissing the solution. They are experts in different problems. I’m still learning that translating, framing, and pacing our thinking for different professional minds is often the real lever. That’s a pattern I keep seeing. If this sounds familiar, I’d be curious to hear how others are navigating it. Happy to exchange experiences. (Note 02: Bridging the gap)

We’re entering a period of structural change in how product design and development teams operate. As AI accelerates production and organizations shift toward outcomes, the role of UX is expanding beyond execution into strategy, orchestration, and decision-making. I’ve been exploring how those dynamics are evolving: from outputs to outcomes, silos to journeys, and production to orchestration. This is part 1 of a 3-part series on how UX, product, and engineering teams are changing in the agentic era. https://lnkd.in/eQndDQMe #designexcellence #agenticAI #UXleadership #designleadership
