It was a proud moment for me as a leader of Mastercard. But also, a personal one. As a kid, I participated in Junior Achievement programs throughout high school, and the lessons I learned about leadership, entrepreneurship, and how the workplace functions, have guided me throughout my career. For all of us at Mastercard, being a Force for Good is embedded in our culture. When I joined out of school, I never imagined I’d still be walking through these doors two and a half decades later. So much has changed, but the reason I’ve stayed hasn’t: the people. I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible leaders, work alongside colleagues who challenged me to be better, and partner with teams who turned ideas into impact. Those relationships and that spirit of collaboration are what make Mastercard so special. All these years later, I’m still learning, growing, and inspired by the people around me. I’m incredibly grateful for all Mastercard has given me and my family, and I’ll continue paying it forward by investing in others and helping shape what’s next. 25 years of learning, growing, and relationships that will last a lifetime... priceless.

Bejoy Mathew reacted on thisBejoy Mathew reacted on thisYesterday I celebrated 12 years at Mastercard. What many might not know is that Mastercard rejected me. So I did the only reasonable thing and I made them hire me anyway. The first time I applied, I made it all the way to the final round, and they flew me out to New York for the interview. Then the call came, and the answer was no, I didn’t get the job. I didn't have global experience. They were right, I didn't. So I went and got it. I took a job at another company doing exactly the work they said I was missing. Not a class or a certification, a new job somewhere else. About a year later, a role opened up at Mastercard, same level and same title, just a different part of the business. Three interviews later it was mine. Looking back, that was the most useful NO of my career. Someone took the time to tell me exactly what was missing, and I took them literally. I think about that whenever I see someone treat a no like the end of the story. Some nos are, but the good ones come with directions on what to do next. The recruiter who gave me that feedback also encouraged me to come back and apply again. That door led to years of amazing opportunities and the chance to work with some of the smartest people. Twelve years. Still choosing curious.

The work of HR has never been more important or more complex. Across countries, cultures, and time zones, our teams are helping the organization transform while navigating rapidly changing technology, new ways of working, evolving expectations, and, at times, incredibly difficult decisions. While the context may differ by market, our responsibility is shared: build the talent, leadership, and culture that enables the enterprise to perform and grow. The best HR leaders don’t simply support the business through these moments; they help lead the business through them. That means having the courage to challenge and advise, helping leaders make tough decisions with both clarity and humanity, building the capabilities our business will need next, and creating a culture where high performance and accountability can thrive while connecting people and priorities across a truly global enterprise. Much of that work happens behind the scenes. It isn’t always easy, and it isn’t always visible. The school does something truly unique. They provide a high-quality, life-changing education to girls from low-income backgrounds, but their support doesn't stop at academics. They look at the whole child—ensuring the girls receive nutritious meals, safe housing support, mental health resources, and long-term mentorship that follows them all the way through high school and college. With the decline of quality educational options in our community, more families are turning to Marian than ever before, and the school is operating at full capacity this year. Our fall fundraiser is coming up, and we are actively looking for help to fund our cafeteria programs for the students. As a member of Olin Business School student consulting team, I reviewed the program in general and marketing strategy in specific to identify reasons and barriers on why low-income adults with hearing loss living in our community do not access these services and hearing aids when they are made available at one-tenth the normal cost – or no cost at all.

The disclosure herein describes receiving, analyzing, and routing a transaction to a priority processing network based on routing rules. A transaction message associated with an electronic credit transaction is received, the transaction message including transaction data. Routing rules are accessed from a routing rules data store and at least one category of the electronic credit transaction is determined based on the transaction data. A routing score is calculated based on an application of the routing rules to the at least one category. Based on the calculated routing score, the transaction message is routed to a priority processing network, wherein processing the electronic credit transaction by the priority processing network includes a direct funds transfer between a payer account and a payee account. The described system provides flexible, efficient routing of transactions to the priority processing network for rapid processing based on the preference for or urgency of the transactions -

As we enter 2026, it’s worth calling out a hard truth about execution. In my experience, operating models don’t fail because teams miss the mark. They fail because leaders design them in silos, communicate them selectively, and assume alignment will happen. Local structures get optimized. Enterprise accountability, decision rights, and success metrics don’t. Worse, many operating models are never measured at all. No clear indicators. No feedback loop. No ownership for whether the model is actually working. The result is predictable: • priorities collide • ownership fragments • execution slows • and individuals absorb the cost of systemic misalignment What’s often described as a culture issue rarely is. It’s an operating model that was never aligned, socialized, or measured. People don’t fail organizations. They perform exactly as the system allows.
