A single password isn't enough to keep an account secure. 🔥🔐 As cybersecurity threats grow, the risks of a compromised login are wide-ranging: domain theft, redirected websites, intercepted emails, or exposed customer data, all of which can have real consequences for your business's operations and reputation. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of protection by requiring an additional code sent to a separate device before successfully logging in. This way, even if your password is ever compromised, your domain, your data, and your business communications stay protected. INWX is now a member of the Trusted Notifier Network (TNN). 👏✨ The TNN aims to strengthen the reporting and validation of online abuse across the global internet. As part of the wider internet governance landscape, it helps internet intermediaries like us handle abuse reports more efficiently, providing validated inputs from trusted sources and supporting accountable decisions across platforms and infrastructure providers. This helps us where it counts most—in day-to-day abuse handling. Verified reports from trusted sources mean we can act faster and with more certainty, and it makes the DNS a little safer for everyone. 🌐 🔒

30 years of DENIC! 🎉 On Friday, we joined DENIC eG to raise a glass to their 30th anniversary. 🥂 It was a great (if rather hot) day at their offices in Frankfurt. There was an interesting panel on the .de domain, the cooperative model, and digital identities. At the Security Arcade, you could let loose on arcade machines, knock down your favorite domain buzzwords at the can toss, and try your luck at number puzzles or the raffle. And of course there were plenty of good conversations with colleagues and friends from the industry. ✨ INWX has been a DENIC cooperative member for 20 years now, and .de is still our biggest domain. Here's to many more years together! 🫶🏻

Mario and Leandro attended the InterNetX Domain Summit in Berlin, our hometown, so naturally we made sure to be there. The event brought together people across the domain ecosystem, centered on one theme: the industry's digital metamorphosis 🤖 AI agents and machine-to-machine communication dominated the conversations. The consensus is clear: this is the direction we're moving, and it will fundamentally change how domains are discovered, registered, and managed. We're curious to see how this evolves in the coming years. What really stood out was seeing more young people entering the industry. New perspectives, fresh ideas—that's where the next wave of innovation comes from. 👏🏼

Last week's ICANN Policy Forum in Seville brought together the domain industry for a few intense days of policy discussions, networking, and (very) hot weather. ☀️ Beyond the policy work, talks and sessions focused on DNS abuse and mitigation, and how AI is reshaping both its creation and defense. Another highlight: meeting with Trusted Notifier Network, which pre-screens abuse reports before they reach us, freeing us up to focus on the topics that really need our attention. On top of that, it was the last ICANN gathering before the application window for the next gTLD round shuts—a milestone moment for everyone weighing whether to throw their hat in the ring. And once again, it was great to see the women of the industry come together for their casual meetup. Just good vibes and good company. 🥰✨
