He began creating as a teenager after losing his younger brother and mother to cancer, turning art from a therapeutic outlet into a full-time creative career. His work spans large-scale murals, public art, visual design, and community-centered projects. Devs Create 313 is in the books! I had the honor of speaking alongside Hamza Crichlow on the evolution of design, where it's been, where it's at now, and why. We dug into how those shifts actually show up in the day to day work of designers and developers. One thread we kept coming back to: do one thing very well. In a field that rewards chasing every new tool and trend, the strongest work still comes from mastering the fundamentals first. Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and stuck around after. And a huge thank you to Nicholas Gordon, Delon Hardy, Marcus Westbrooks, Ron Marshall, Ashley Crockett and many more for hosting us and making the whole event happen.
