The Baptist sepsis program team collaborates to promote sepsis awareness and education alongside our District One partners including Escambia County EMS, HCA and Ascension. On Sept. 28, 2026, we provided educational sessions for staff at Olive Branch Health and Rehab Center focused on sepsis prevention, early recognition and timely treatment. Huge announcement! Expanding access to care is one of the most important investments we can make in our community. That's why we are adding 40 new acute care beds at the Baptist Hospital campus in the Henderson Health Center. In addition, we are collaborating with PAM Health on a new 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the Baptist Medical Park – Nine Mile campus. Baptist team members participated in the YMCA of Northwest Florida's annual Corporate Cup Games on Sept. 26. This annual event combines team building and community support. It features a variety of competitions. Our teams had a lot of fun joining in the theme “Unleash the Legacy: 175 Years Strong” where they showcased team member spirit through shirts, parade banners and competing in the games. Baptist placed first in the Bucket Challenge and Eggsecutive Toss, placed second in the One-Mile Run and placed third in the Raft Relay, Hula Hoop and Wheelbarrow Relay.
