What started as small hackathons has grown into a high-signal network focused on one belief: environment is everything. What we actively do: • Curated mentorship & collaborator matching • Hands-on AI workshops and skill-building labs • Cross-discipline gatherings and showcases • Job, grant, and opportunity sharing • Small support circles for accountability and momentum If you’re serious about building—and want to be surrounded by others who are too—this is your environment.

Definitely worth waking up at 6 AM for this one ☀️ Biggest thing I took away from Courtney Ko's talk: talent can come from anywhere, but access isn’t equal. That’s what AI Valley is really about. Courtney creates these experiences that give builders a shot at the people, resources, and opportunities they might never run into otherwise. Sometimes one conversation or intro at an event completely changes someone’s path. That part stuck with me. I also loved hearing how they think about events like the Dumb Hackathon, Women in Tech Hackathon, and Dogathon. They sound fun and a bit random on the surface, but every detail is deliberate, who it’s for, how to lower the barriers, what shared purpose looks like, and making sure people leave wanting to tell their friends about it. Thank you, Courtney Ko, for sharing so openly. Learned a lot and walked away feeling inspired to be more intentional about the communities and experiences we build. And thanks to everyone who showed up from different countries and time zones 💛 See you at the next The Digital Nomad CMX Community event! Open to collabs, speakers, hosts, sponsors etc.

Today's session was amazing. Thank you Courtney Ko for sharing your experience in designing and organizing memorable and fun events. The audience really learnt a lot in designing event experiences that people would love to attend, share with friends and look forward to attending again. Shout out to M. Emily C. for moderating the session.

I'm speaking Tuesday, Sept 29, at "Fix My Agent: An AI Agent Clinic" at Hogpatch in SF 📍 with AI Valley, PostHog, and GMI Cloud! At MCPJam we build testing and debugging tools for MCP servers, so we see a lot of agents that fail to deliver value when connected to MCP servers in production. The cause is usually one of the same few things: - Tool discovery issues: descriptions the model misreads, so it calls the wrong tool or passes bad arguments - Connection & OAuth issues: connection & OAuth flows that pass locally and break with real AI clients - MCP servers that work well enough for users with one client+model configuration, and fails with another - No continuous evals practice, so every prompt or schema change is a guess In my talk I'll go through how we find these problems. That means inspecting an MCP server directly, tracing tool calls, debugging OAuth step by step, and running evals across models before your users find the bugs. If you have an MCP server or agent workflow that's misbehaving, bring it. I'll be there all evening and happy to open it up in MCPJam with you! Also look forward to hearing from Thierry Damiba at Arcade.dev, Hendrik Krack at CodeRabbit, and Mingjun Sun at GMI Cloud! Oh, and free food, drinks, and swag 👀. RSVP: https://lnkd.in/g2uZH89h

  • 🏛️ Walt Disney spent his life turning sketches into things people could walk through. On October 3 we're running a hackathon inside his museum. Here's what that actually means for your build. You ship in the morning. You hang it in the afternoon. Then people walk up, use it, and ask you how it works. Gets you applause and gets you users. That's why the build ends in a gallery. builder teams, one room at the The Walt Disney Family Museum, every project standing on its own with someone next to it who can answer for it. Bring a team or find one there. Bring a commerce problem you've been circling for months. Co-hosted with ZooWork, and supported by Tavily, TinyFish, Entire, and Moss (YC F25). 👇 Tag the person you'd want standing next to you at that table. 📅 October 3, San Francisco. Okay, this one feels a little surreal 🥹 AI Valley is hosting a hackathon at the Walt Disney Family Museum, where the projects won’t just get demoed. They’ll be turned into exhibits for our AI Commerce Gallery. On October 3, we’re bringing together 100–150 builders and founders to imagine what commerce looks like when AI changes how we shop, discover, sell, and interact with businesses. And I’m especially excited about the format. You build during the day. You turn your product into an exhibit. Then we open up the Gallery Walk and let people experience what you created. I’ve organized a lot of hackathons, but I really wanted this one to feel different. Less like rows of laptops and pitch decks, and more like walking through a glimpse of what the future could actually look like. Huge thank you to ZooWork for building this with us, and Tavily, TinyFish, Entire, and Moss (YC F25) for supporting it. 📍 Walt Disney Family Museum, San Francisco 📅 October 3 Now I just want to see what everyone makes :) Build something worth putting on display. • What happens when you give AI agents access to better data? Last week, we brought builders together with Glasser.ai and Arcade.dev for Find Your Next Customer, Deal, or Big Idea with AI — a hands-on night exploring how verified business intelligence can help agents solve real problems. Builders used Glasser data with their own agents to explore customer discovery, buying signals, competitive research, market opportunities, and more. 🏆 Winner: Potential Clients Mapapp by Kevin Kevin’s project used Glasser to find the physical locations of potential customers and map those leads into a visual heatmap — making it easier to see where high-potential customers are concentrated. We also saw builders experiment with company signals, market intelligence, and new ways to turn business data into actionable insights. Huge thank you to Glasser.ai, Arcade.dev, Entrepreneurs First, our judges, and everyone who came out and built with us. One takeaway from the night: better agents aren’t just about better models — they need better context and better data, too. 🫡

My parents always wanted me to be a doctor. Now I’m hosting a different kind of clinic 🤪🩺 I’m excited for Fix My Agent: An AI Agent Clinic. 🥺 It’s for the builders who have had that moment: your agent looked amazing in the demo, and then real users, messy context, flaky tools, or one bad integration made everything unravel. On September 29, AI Valley, PostHog, and GMI Cloud are bringing together builders in SF for practical demos and a hands-on clinic. Bring an agent, MCP workflow, or production issue you’re working through. You’ll meet other people dealing with the same things and leave with concrete ideas for what to fix next. Featuring: • Prathmesh Patel - CEO at MCPJam • Thierry Damiba - Member of GTM Staff at Arcade.dev • Hendrik Krack - Developer Advocate at CodeRabbit • Mingjun Sun - AgentBox PM at GMI Cloud • A GMI MCP demo from me Free food, drinks, and swag included. 🥳 If you’re building agents or MCP workflows, come through. I have a feeling this one is going to be really special.
