Improvements and updates for the Proton Mail mobile apps u/Proton_Team • Improvements and updates for the Proton Mail mobile apps Announcement Hi everyone, We’ve just shipped another update for the new Proton Mail mobile apps. Following your feedback after the app rewrite, we’ve brought back some important visual indicators: - Encryption status (lock icons) in the inbox, and - Counts of blocked trackers. The underlying protection was always there, but this update brings back the visuals and adds clearer indicators on mobile. We’ve also added link cleaning, which is completely new to the mobile app. We’re also introducing something new: - A discreet app icon, which lets Proton Mail appear as a generic utility app on your home screen, giving you more control over how visible the app is on your home screen. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to report issues and share feedback. Let us know what you think in the comments below. Remember that rollouts are gradual, so please be patient!
