These crawls are part of an effort to archive pages as they are created and archive the pages that they refer to. That way, as the pages that are referenced are changed or taken from the web, a link to the version that was live when the page was written will be preserved.
Then the Internet Archive hopes that references to these archived pages will be put in place of a link that would be otherwise be broken, or a companion link to allow people to see what was originally intended by a page's authors.
The goal is to
fix all broken links on the web.

This is a collection of web page captures from links added to, or changed on, Wikipedia pages. The idea is to bring a reliability to Wikipedia outlinks so that if the pages referenced by Wikipedia articles are changed, or go away, a reader can permanently find what was originally referred to.
This is part of the Internet Archive's attempt to

NeuIslanders attended RoboCup 2012 in Mexico City. In our second year in RoboCup 2013 competition we took 14th place out of 20. We are looking forward to take place and get better results in RoboCup 2014 in Brasil.

| NeuIslanders aim to compete in the annual international Robocup competition. Robocup is one of the largest robotic gatherings in the world, hosting over 3000 participants from over 40 different countries over 7 days. Its goal is to foster artificial intelligence and robotics research by providing a standard problem where a wide range of technologies can be examined and integrated. There are multiple leagues of competition ranging from the small league to the humanoid league. Robocup’s long term goal is to have a fully autonomous humanoid robotic team that is capable of competing against a world class soccer team by 2050. You can learn more about robocup here. |
About the competition
Our team’s aim is to compete in the small size league of RoboCup. Here a team of five robots which are limited to a 18cm diameter and 15cm height compete in a game of soccer. These robots are autonomously controlled by top-down oriented cameras and wirelessly communicate to each other to defeat their opponents.
About the team
The NEU Islanders is composed of students from Mechanical, Computer and Electrical and Electronics Engineering departments. The team members designed, manufactured and assembled the robots. The program which controls the robots to find the ball, pass and shoot is written by the team members. The team tackled many technical problems both in mechanical and programming.
