The Economist's Innovation Awards

![]()
Since 2002, The Economist has recognised those individuals whose ideas have changed the world we live in, with the most influential annual awards ceremony for innovation through its annual awards programme and this year we celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
The anniversary theme is the search for “the essence of truly great innovation” and to mark the occasion we will be inviting all of our past winners and judges and other world-leading innovators: a gathering of some of the world's most important inventors, entrepreneurs, scientists and creative thinkers to celebrate how their ideas have collectively defined how our world looks today AND we will be awarding one of the last decade's Economist Innovation winners with the Anniversary prize, as voted for by you and our Economist readers.
Further information on the anniversary prize, award ceremony and summit programmes will be available soon.
