The following statistics rely on data of our own domain data base, as far as .de domains are concerned.

The domain counter shows the current number of registered .de domains. It is updated daily in the early morning. Given is also the change in domain number with respect to the day before.

Here you find the domain numbers of the ten largest Top Level Domains. Data are updated on a monthly basis and rely, if not stated otherwise, on information given by the corresponding registry.

DENIC also administrates the German part of the ENUM domain space. Corresponding statistical information is presented in this area.

The so called RIPE-Hostcount is a survey which counts the number of permanently connected hosts. The survey covers the area, for which RIPE is responsible, i. e. Europe, Near and Middle East, and parts of Asia (the former USSR).

The Internet Domain Survey of ISC (Internet Systems Consortium) has the goal to count all hosts in the Internet by monitoring the complete Domain Name System. This is done two times a year, in January and Juli respectively.
