New Fellows elected to the Royal Society 27 May 2005 Forty-four pre-eminent scientists from the UK and Commonwealth have joined the ranks of Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin and Stephen Hawking by being elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society.
Website award nomination The Royal Society website has been nominated for an New Media Age Effectiveness Award. China-UK Hydrogen Initiative The Royal Society is spearheading a China-UK hydrogen initiative in collaboration with the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This takes place between 28 May and 4 June 2005 in Dalian, Shenyang and Beijing.
