Very happy to announce Lars Jensen, Founder & CEO of ShortDot, as a featured speaker at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok 🇹🇭
ShortDot has just taken a very big step.
For the first time, the company has entered an ICANN new gTLD application round = submitting 40 applications covering 80 proposed strings.
That gives us quite a few things to talk about in Bangkok :)
Which new extensions make sense?
What makes a new TLD commercially viable?
How do you build registrar distribution?
What have registry operators learned from the previous generation of new gTLDs?
And perhaps most importantly — what does the next round mean for registrars, domain investors, brands and the wider domain industry?
Lars has been building ShortDot since 2017, and today the company operates extensions including .icu, .bond, .cyou, .cfd and .sbs.
ShortDot is also one of our partners for Domain Summit Asia, so I am particularly happy that Lars will be joining us again.
There should be plenty to discuss.
