- TPC is working on Version 2.0 of TPC-E which will have a reduced number of Initial Trade Days (ITD) from 300 to 90. This will ease running the workload and better simulate more general OLTP environments. Version 2.0 is in development and will be released in mid-2026.
- The TPCx-BB committee is exploring mental changes to increase sponsor engagement and better with industry trends. Key ideas: simplifying software and hardware requirements, enhancing accelerator support to showcase modern hardware capabilities, incorporating gen AI elements.
- § HammerDB reached 650,000 downloads from GitHub repository and 225,000 pulls from container image.
- § TPCx-AI now enforces any pricing discounts be fully disclosed for compliance with TPC rules.
