Mehul Jobanputra shared thisAlright its networking season again............ and London is a beautiful city to kick it off ........ and what better event than PI LIVE Europe - Festival of Partnerships ...... Looking forward to meet ....... all our existing partners and friends.... and also would love to speak to new partners and make new friends........ if you are around at the event please lets catch up.......

Mehul Jobanputra shared thisSo again another incident ... and thought I'll share :). Years ago I was working with Universal Consulting, on a project where Jagat Parikh was the Partner. He had always trusted me and treated me extremely well. It was a long project, and towards the end most of the team had moved on to other things..... I was just wrapping it up. The client wanted to retain us for a couple of extra days for some M&A discussions, and I was the only one sent in to assist. I remember coming back to office and telling my colleagues ... look how much they're charging client for "my expertise". but it took me few years to realise that....... it was not my expertise (it was maybe the smallest part)..... it was Jagat Parikh's experience and the experience of the firm, that the client was valuing maybe more....... And it was Jay Desai's years of effort building the brand that made the client trust us in the first place. Thank you Jagat Parikh for being an amazing mentor ! Thank you Jay Desai for letting me be part of UC and even guiding when i was stuck as a founder ....

Mehul Jobanputra shared thisSomething reminded me of this today, and I thought I'll share it..... A decade ago, I was extremely rude to Sumiet Sharma bhai... and hadn't even realised it at the time. He had every reason to hold on to that. Instead...... being the gentleman he is ....... he let it slide, and has treated our relationship with nothing but warmth and friendship ever since. He still pokes fun at me about it every now and then ;) ... but that much i deserve. I've since apologised. But that one incident taught me something that stayed. This industry and the world is too small. You never know who you'll meet again, or in what position, later in life. Rudeness is a bet you place on never needing that person again ...... and it's a bet you'll eventually lose. I keep telling my team and my family this story ........ because I was lucky. Sumiet Sharma bhai was generous. Not everyone will be.

Mehul Jobanputra shared thisThe way Jimish Jobanputra and team are working on some of these ideas.... is truly inspirational..... as these ideas are about helping the existing team to amplify there work many folds.... as a bootstrapped company the only to punch way above ourselves is to hopefully get some of this rightMehul Jobanputra shared thisOne of the most exciting project Engineering team is working at Parity Cube Pvt. Ltd. is "Project Foundry" While we already had bunch of General Purpose agents helping Marketing teams, product teams etc... Project Foundry aims to amplify output of AI Enabled Engineering Teams. The mission is simple - The boring aspects of looking at bugs, performance issues, doing devops / server monitoring is very monotonous / continuous and Agents can play a huge role in enabling engineering efforts towards reducing technical debt... when everyone is coding at pace never seen before! Today morning Sentinel Agent spotted high CPU usage due to a Rake task and Maya (Executive assistant) was quick enough to send a fix via Merge Request which Agent Forge verified / code reviewed it... These small moments bring in lot of happiness... and we are at Month 0 of deploying some of these agents! Agents truly enables our smaller teams at PCPL amplify output and we are constantly hiring in AI team.. Yes, the bar is high but if you truly want to do work where you can see the impact in days, do drop a DM! Incredibly proud of the Project Foundry team and the courage and ambition they have shown in last few weeks! Shoutout to Madhusudana Rao Addanki Amandeep Kaur Aditya K. Alongside it, we've launched V3 of our API .... rebuilt for an agentic world. 100+ networks, 10,000+ campaigns, one integration .... https://lnkd.in/duQpbKDz Your monetization infrastructure is now easier than ever before. Mehul Jobanputra shared thisSo this role is something super critical in the way things are evolving !! Operations in affiliate is going to be a lot more AI and automation driven rather than being manual going forward....... but to execute that you need strong industry knowledge as without that you can't scale.... so we are looking for someone who knows the industry but loves the newer challenges of AI and automations.......

Mehul Jobanputra shared thisIf you help Influencers in monetization and want to help your influencers to make even more money. You should definitely consider opening this channel for them. It will help them make money and even you...... We have made it super simple to integrate these in any existing product...Mehul Jobanputra shared thisYour creators already talk about brands every day. The question is: are you earning from those mentions, or watching revenue slip past you? Most influencer networks don’t have a monetisation problem. They have a scale problem. No sales team can close partnerships with 15,000 brands. Meanwhile, creators are posting every day - recommending fashion labels, finance apps, travel platforms, D2C products, and more. A handful are paid collaborations. Most are organic mentions that still drive real purchases. And when those mentions aren’t monetised through the network, creators fill the gap themselves - affiliate links, coupon codes, UPI QR codes. The commerce is happening. The network just isn’t part of it. That’s what Cuelinks solves. With one API integration, your network unlocks access to 15,000+ pre-integrated advertisers across fashion, finance, travel, D2C, and beyond. So every organic mention can become: • Trackable • Monetisable • Attributed to the creator Your existing brand deals stay exactly as they are. No new tools. No creator retraining. No manual onboarding. No endless brand negotiations. Just a monetisation layer that’s already live - ready to plug into your creator ecosystem. If you run an influencer network, DM us. We’ll show you how much revenue your creator roster could already be generating. No pitch. No commitment. Just your number. link: www.cuelinks.com #InfluencerMarketing #CreatorEconomy #AffiliateMarketing #CreatorMonetisation #InfluencerNetworks #Cuelinks

Mehul Jobanputra liked thisMehul Jobanputra liked thisThere is a strange contradiction in affiliate marketing. The industry often talks about removing sub-networks as if the layer itself is the problem. At the same time, a lot of the ecosystem quietly depends on what that layer actually does. A good sub-network can bring together publishers, manage relationships, understand different traffic models, and give advertisers access to affiliates they may never reach directly. The problem is not the existence of another layer. The problem is when the advertiser does not know who is behind it, how the traffic is generated, or whether the traffic being delivered matches the agreed terms. If an advertiser cuts the layer out completely, it may gain another level of direct visibility. But it can also lose a lot: -Reach -Relationship management -Access to smaller or specialised publishers that are difficult to manage one by one For me, the better question is not, "How do we remove sub-networks?" It is, "Do we know what they are doing, and are they accountable for it?" That comes back to the same principles we have followed for years: -Declaration -Clear campaign rules -Monitoring -Evidence The layer itself is not automatically good or bad. What matters is the transparency and accountability within it. PS: Have you ever cut something out to simplify, only to lose the thing that was quietly holding it together?

I tried to reach a CMO. He blocked and reported me for spam. Here is what I learned. I sent a CMO of one of India's largest fintech companies a BTL activation proposal this morning. His response: "I've blocked and reported you for spam." No read. No review. Just blocked. Now, I'll be the first to admit, WhatsApp wasn't the ideal channel. I tried email first. Multiple attempts. All bounced. So yes, I ended up in his DMs. My bad. But here is what got me thinking. We talk endlessly about innovation, disruption, and finding the next big idea. Yet the very gatekeepers who need fresh thinking are also the ones with the highest walls around them. Tall walls. Very tall walls. I am not bitter. I am genuinely curious. How does a founder with a sharp, relevant idea actually reach a CMO today? Email servers bounce. LinkedIn requests disappear into the void. Calls don't get picked up. Referrals require connections you may not yet have. And apparently, showing up with an actual idea is now a criminal offence. Cold outreach is called spam when it fails and hustle when it works. Funny how that works. The proposal I sent took weeks of thinking, research, and genuine strategy built specifically for their brand. Was it perfect? Maybe not. But surely it deserved 90 seconds of someone's very important time. To every senior leader reading this, the next big idea for your brand might just come from someone you don't yet know. Someone whose number isn't saved in your phone. And to every founder reading this, keep going. Just maybe not on WhatsApp. 😅 What is the right way to reach decision makers today? I would genuinely love to know.

Why D2C brands keep burning on performance ads — even when CAC keeps rising Customer acquisition costs for Indian D2C brands have steadily increased over the past few years. Meta CPMs are higher, creative fatigue sets in faster, and incremental ROAS becomes harder to defend. Yet performance spends haven’t slowed proportionately. Because performance marketing doesn’t just acquire customers — it manufactures growth visibility. On a dashboard, the math looks convincing. Spend ₹1 crore. Generate ₹3–4 crore in GMV. Month-on-month growth improves. But GMV is not profitability. And revenue is not contribution margin. Once you account for discounts, returns, logistics, gateway fees, and ad spend, the real economics surface. If your blended CAC is ₹1,200 and your average order value is ₹900–1,100, you’re not acquiring customers profitably — you’re underwriting future assumptions. The assumption is LTV. Most D2C founders are making a capital allocation decision, not just a marketing one: “We’re willing to lose on the first order because repeat behaviour will justify the spend.” This model works under two conditions: strong retention mechanics and abundant capital. In funding-friendly cycles, aggressive paid acquisition accelerates category capture. Scale first, optimise margins later. Mamaearth’s early growth demonstrated how powerful ad-led expansion can be. But scale funded by ads is different from scale funded by organic demand. Performance marketing proves you can buy reach. It does not prove durable brand pull. The distinction becomes visible when capital tightens or ROAS compresses. The question shifts from “How fast are we growing?” to “How much of this growth exists without paid stimulus?” That’s when CAC stops being a metric and starts becoming a dependency. This isn’t a moral debate between growth and profitability. It’s a structural debate about capital efficiency. One model optimises for speed and visibility. The other optimises for margin stability and retention resilience. Both are rational — but they’re built for different capital climates. The harder question for D2C founders today isn’t whether to run performance ads. It’s whether paid acquisition is amplifying real demand — or substituting for it. That distinction determines whether you’re building a brand or renting attention. #D2C #IndianStartups #StartupStrategy #CustomerAcquisition #GrowthVsProfit #CapitalEfficiency #ConsumerBrands

The other 58% is a revenue diversification playbook every D2C founder should copy. Weekly boxes, exclusive access, VIP perks – recurring revenue beats one-time sales every time. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜: Amazon makes ₹4.3L cr from advertising. You have traffic and audience attention. Start with affiliate links, then sponsored placements, brand partnerships. Traffic is an asset – stop giving it away free. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: AWS is 16% of revenue but 50%+ of profits. 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥: Amazon's biggest wins came from building infrastructure others need – fulfillment, cloud, payments. What does your industry struggle with that you could solve and monetize? Start building seven revenue streams. Picture: Respective Owner #amazon #D2C #revenue #growth #strategy

Building Sunscreen Ads That Don’t Look Like Sunscreen Ads. Recently created an AI-powered ad concept around Dhoop Ki Rani – SPF 50+ PA++++ Sunscreen Mist. Instead of shouting “SPF 50” — the idea was to sell convenience, reapplication & modern Indian routines. Because today’s skincare user wants: • No white cast • No greasy finish • Makeup-friendly SPF • Sensitive skin safe • Quick reapply format The positioning strategy behind this concept: 1️⃣ Shift from “protection” to “everyday ritual” 2️⃣ Visual storytelling around mist format (on-the-go usage) 3️⃣ Highlight ingredient credibility without overcomplicating 4️⃣ Premium but approachable Indian brand tone AI helped accelerate: • Concept visualization • Product staging • Lighting simulations • Scene testing before execution This project was created purely for portfolio and creative demonstration purposes. No official collaboration. Meesho IPO Sees Strong Retail Demand — Fully Subscribed Within Hours of Opening The much-anticipated ₹5,421 crore Meesho IPO opened with a bang — Retail investors led the charge, subscribing 1.86x of their portion on Day 1, while overall bids crossed full subscription in just two hours. Backed by SoftBank, Meta, and Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India), Meesho’s market debut reflects the growing confidence in India’s asset-light, Bharat-first e-commerce model. Analysts note the company’s focus on small merchants and digital inclusion across Tier 2–4 cities as key differentiators. However, sustained profitability and competitive pressure from Flipkart, Amazon, and Jiomart remain watchpoints for long-term investors. 👉 My take: This IPO signals a shift — Indian retail investors are no longer chasing hype, they’re backing scalable business models with clear value creation. 🔗 Stay tuned as I break down upcoming listings, valuations, and post-IPO trends that matter. #MeeshoIPO #StartupEcosystem #StockMarketIndia #IPOAnalysis #IndianStartups #JosephReddy #FinanceInsights #InvestmentStrategy #MarketUpdates #FinancialEducation #LinkedInFinance Joseph Reddy Meesho
