Elementor launched our official MCP 🎉 It connects the AI tool you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT, to your WordPress site, so you can ask it to build Elementor pages, update your site, and handle maintenance for you. It's free and works with the free and pro versions of Elementor, and it's already built into the plugin, so there's nothing extra to install. You enable it in your dashboard, paste the prompt it gives you into your AI tool, and you're connected in a few minutes. I explain all of this in the article below which covers what it does, how to set it up in 5 steps, and what Angie AI adds on top. Today, September 24, Roi Tal and I are showing it live in a webinar, with special guest Ferdy Korpershoek who will be joining us to share his experience building with it too. See you there! https://lnkd.in/dHgcg-_RWhat the new Elementor MCP does (and what an MCP even is)What the new Elementor MCP does (and what an MCP even is)Miriam Schwab

I was on a panel last night at Cloudways Prepathon about how AI Is changing WordPress development, and what this means for developers. We discussed a lot of things, including how to make sites agent-ready in an era where we've reached the point that most of the traffic to sites is now bots and agents, not humans. BTW, this isn't new, since SEO bots have been crawling websites for decades, but the conversation around “make your site agent-ready” is different, and important now. At the moment, most of the agent traffic to sites is for training, not for taking action. But soon we'll all be sending our agents out onto the web to do things for us and we need to start thinking towards that. In the meantime, making sure sites are accessible to machines and can be read by them matters a lot. After a lot of testing (I talked about this at WordCamp US), it looks like agents are really good at reading websites in the same way we do - via normal HTML. But if that HTML is being blocked or obscured in some way, the machines may struggle. Also, there are additive things you can do to make your content even more readable, like making sure your site is built with semantic HTML, proper heading order, schema,a decent robots.txt, and good internal linking structure. I also said the following on the panel and it's something I repeat often: AI is both very brilliant and very stupid 😂. It will get the job done at all costs, but "all costs" doesn't always translate into good results. For example, the first WordPress site I built with Claude looked right, even amazing, but none of the pages were editable in the WP Admin - Claude had hard-coded everything! Basically, you still need to know enough about what's going on under the hood to push back, and nudge your agents in the right and best direction. If you want to get started with some true vibe coding for WordPress and Elementor, Elementor 4.3 with our shiny new MCP is out of beta and available to everyone 🎉 https://lnkd.in/dW_6-qSP

There's a lot of focus on building sites with AI, but what about maintaining and optimizing them? While website maintenance isn't quite as exciting as the build part, it's just as important to the success of a site, if not more so. When a new site launches, that's just day one, but you'll have many months and years of working with that site to achieve your goals, and keeping up its "hygiene" needs ongoing attention. In today's webinar (happening in about a half hour!) we'll show you some ways to create a routine around keeping your site healthy and optimized over time. In the past, this type of activity was time consuming, repetitive, boring and annoying. But with AI, this can all become a smooth, mostly automated (human in the loop matters) workflow. WordCamp US 2026 is a wrap, and we're still thinking about today! Amanda Ventura from Waymo opened the final day. Our CEO Matt Mullenweg and Robert Jacobi closed it with a fireside chat on where the open web goes next. And across four days and 50+ sessions, the same question kept surfacing from every direction: what does it actually take to build on the open web and keep up? Our answer hasn't changed. Open, so you own what you make. Secure, so you can stop worrying about it. Flexible, so it bends to your work instead of the other way around. Three sessions from the last day that landed squarely on that: 👉 Jamie Marsland showing non-technical folks how to vibe code in WordPress 👉 Brian Coords on block themes, AI, and the site as the source of truth 👉Miriam Schwab on whether WordPress is ready for the agentic web And thank you to everyone who came through the Creator's Studio. You shot content, got sites live, and brought our team the kind of questions you can only really ask in person. That room was the best argument for doing this face to face. The swag is gone, the booth is closed down, and we're already thinking about the next one. Phoenix, thank you. 💙 We’ll see you next time! #WCUS #WordCampUS #WordPress

WordCamp US that’s a wrap! Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, speakers and sponsors for making this an inspiring and meaningful event 🙏. Community gatherings like this are so important for the future of WordPress and open source, and we at Elementor grateful that we could be supporters both as sponsors and speakers. The first pic below is the "before" version of us - fresh and put-together and ready to roll. The second pic is the "after" - exhausted and happy as we cleared out of our gorgeous booth (btw I always find it a bit sad to say goodbye to our booths at the end of conferences). Huge thank you to our team who was there, helping and guiding our users, and explaining what we do to newbies (there were a lot of people who didn't know who we are!), and just generally being awesome 🙏

After eight years at GoDaddy, I’m starting a new chapter. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences, relationships, challenges, opportunities, and especially how much I learned from so many along the way. I led Field Marketing across events, community, and partner marketing, while working closely with content, social, product, care, sales, operations, and other teams across the broader GTM organization. That experience shaped how I think about building programs that connect people, teams, and business outcomes. That intersection is where I do my best work. I’ve always believed an event is more than an event. A community is more than an audience. A partner program is more than a channel. Field Marketing and community is often seen only as a brand play, something that might eventually influence pipeline, somewhere downstream. I build Field teams as the pipeline itself. The distinction matters because it changes everything about how you measure, fund, and prioritize the work. When partners and customers trust you enough to run their own events and advocate in their own networks, you get lower CAC, higher-quality leads, and retention that doesn't require constant re-selling. It happens through relationships that were built before anyone needed anything. You show up where your audiences are and bring value first, and always. The mechanism is trust. The outcome is revenue. The reason most organizations don't build this way is that it takes longer to show up in a quarterly report, but it compounds in ways that centrally-run campaigns never do. I’m actively exploring my next opportunity, particularly roles where I can bring together field marketing, events, community building, partner marketing, relationship development, and measurable growth. All in the name of business outcomes. At the same time, I’m giving myself some space to evaluate what comes next and to move a few side projects forward that I’ve wanted to spend more time on. If you know of a team looking for someone who can build programs, connect people, create momentum, and turn relationships into meaningful business outcomes, I’d love to talk. I’ve also updated TalkingHuman.com with more about my background, experience, and the areas where I can help. Onward. The new Claude and Elementor MCP connection could be a genuinely important change for how websites get built 🤔 We’ve been looking at Claude, Elementor and WordPress with a lot of interest because this feels like one of those changes that could alter how web design and development works quite quickly. WordPress is in an interesting position at the moment. With AI moving so fast, the way people design and develop websites is clearly changing, and that does create some pressure on platforms that have been the default choice for years. What makes this especially interesting for us is Elementor Pro. That is what we use to build websites in WordPress, and when it is used properly it can be incredibly powerful. Used badly, it can also create code bloat and all the usual issues that come with page builders. But Elementor have introduced an MCP as part of Elementor 4.3. It opens Elementor up to AI tools like Claude, and allows us to build directly inside a WordPress site using native, editable Elementor structures rather than just returning raw code. That means you could end up with a functional WordPress CMS website built in Elementor, but still have the flexibility to scale it, refine it and make the changes you want within a backend we already know well. That is the part that really stands out to us. If we can design and develop websites much faster by prompting in Claude while Elementor handles the build, then this is something we absolutely need to test. It is early and we need to see how well it actually works. But from our point of view this could be a very exciting step to AI website design. #elementor

A few thoughts about the narrowly averted disaster aboard the flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv today: 1. There were multiple failures here, including that the co-pilot and apparent perpetrator wasn't flagged in advance and that he was able to conceal and use a weapon of some sort to attack the captain while they were locked in the cockpit. 2. Flydubai is a government-owned airline and this incident is deeply embarrassing to both the airline and the UAE government. Emirati authorities will do everything in their considerable power to investigate what happened and prevent it from reoccurring. 3. The UAE is the only country in the world, aside from Israel, whose airlines have flown to and from Israel almost without interruption since October 7, 2023. The UAE has proven to be a deeply committed friend of Israel's and the Emiratis ascribe tremendous importance to both the bilateral relationship between the two countries and the maintenance of the air link between them. Flydubai's Tel Aviv route is one of the airline's busiest and most frequent, with up to ten daily flights in each direction. All of this reinforces the previous point: the Emiratis will do whatever they can to prevent this from happening again. 4. The only reason everyone on the plane is alive is because of the Indian captain, who did whatever he could to save his passengers after being savagely attacked by his co-pilot, and the Israeli passengers who decided to take matters into their own hands, break into the cockpit, subdue the perpetrator, and enable the plane to land safely. This is a tremendous testament to their heroism and bravery and to the Israeli spirit that has shown itself throughout Israel's existence and particularly during the past three years. 5. A word of appreciation for Saudi authorities, who—by all accounts—handled this incident with great professionalism, coordinated closely with Israeli authorities, and treated the passengers with courtesy and care. I am surely not the only Israeli who breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the plane had landed in Saudi Arabia. I'm not sure that would have been the case just a few years ago.

I’ve had two friends take their own lives after long, frustrating searches for work. One applied to more than a hundred jobs, worked his network, did all the right things, and still came up short. The other searched ceaselessly for consulting work while also seeking something stable, but in his mind, it was all a dead end. The mental health struggles that come with a difficult job search are very real. I’d guess most of us know this. We know we need to be kind, because the battles of the unemployed or underemployed are many and the market is harsh. What many don’t know is what happens afterward. My mother died by suicide too. I’ve lived with what that loss does to the people left behind, and given how many folks are seeking work today, I feel compelled to put this out there for anyone who may be nearing that edge. First, please don’t believe the thought that no one cares about you. When you’re in it, that thought can feel true. It isn’t. Don’t you dare believe the lie. Second, no one knows if you’ll end up living the life you expected. If you’re here, you can still flip the script. You are not your job. You are not the rejections or the dissent, and your worth is not defined by your application tracker. You can be something else. Go somewhere else. Try something else. You don’t have to know what any of that looks like today. You have options, even if you can’t clearly see them in this moment. Third, I know it feels real. The heaviness. The emptiness. The lack of motivation mixed with the inability to not do anything. The discord between the ideas you had for your life and what it feels like today. I know there’s always the “go outside” type of advice, but I’ve found that helping someone else can sometimes break the vicious self-talk cycle, even for a little while. That connection is real. The idea that you’re beyond hope is not. And last, you matter. I know it’s cliché, but you really do. To people. To the world. The market is really hard, and I can’t promise when work will come. You do not have to face this part alone. Please reach out to a friend or a former colleague. Tell them plainly: “I’m not okay, and I need you to stay with me.” If you can talk to a therapist, do it. If you can’t afford that, reach out to a local organization that can help. In the U.S., you can call or text 988. I don’t know what it’s going to look like, but I want you here to find out. Please let us help you through today. And if you know someone who has been searching for work for a long time, check on them. Ask how they’re doing and give them room to tell you the truth. That conversation could matter more than you know. 🤍

Big news! EverAfter AI was acquired by Base 🥳 EverAfter AI was founded in 2020 by Noa Danon and myself. Noa and I met during our service in the Israeli Air Force’s technology unit (Ofek). We became close friends, and eventually co-founders. We built EverAfter around a simple belief: product experience and customer experience should never be separated. Over the years, EverAfter grew across Israel and the US thanks to the incredible team and the trust of our investors at TLV Partners, Vertex Ventures Israel , and ICON - Israel Collaboration Network. I’m deeply grateful for their belief and support along the way. Now, we’re entering a new chapter. The merger with Base - founded by Gal Biran and Gal Briner - is not just a company milestone. For me, it’s a very personal moment of reflection. What made this merger meaningful is the timing. We are entering the AI era. AI isn’t an add-on - it reshapes how products are designed and how customers work. It gave us a rare opportunity to rethink what we’ve built - not by forcing AI into legacy systems, but by building forward with AI as a given, guided by real customer needs. We’re taking two legacy products, with years of data and experience behind them, and using that foundation to build better products and experience for our customers. What surprised me most was how grounded this process felt. Our system remains at the core. Our team is still here, carrying the context and responsibility. And the Base team brings sharp thinking and the kind of challenge that pushes you forward. For me, this is a rare opportunity that most founders never get. To pause. To look honestly at what we built over the last few years. And to take years of product, data, and decisions - and rebuild them for the era we’re in now.
