Industry veterans join forces to apply for top level domains, announce eight of their applications.
Two familiar faces in the domain name and hosting businesses have joined forces to apply for top level domain names.
Michael Blend founded domain parking company HotKeys, which he sold to Demand Media. Josh Jones was a co-founder and former CEO of DreamHost.
Together, they formed Endpoint Domains to apply for domain names.
So far, the company has disclosed eight of its primary domain choices. The company says the applications are fully paid.
The domains revealed so far are:
- .big
- .fab
- .fart
- .ftw
- .happy
- .nsfw
- .private
- .true
All of these domains are potentially in contention with Link Freedom Group (LFG), although it’s unclear whether LFG applied for these strings as primary or backup strings.
Endpoint Domains has applied for other TLDs that it will disclose later.
Identity Digital will be the registry services provider for Endpoint Domains.
