We're incredibly proud to share that Kit has been recognised with three 2026 WeMoney Everyday Banking Awards in the Kids & Youth Account category! 🎉    🏆 Kids Account of the Year  🏆 Best for Family Accounts  🏆 Best for Value – Kids Accounts    These awards recognise the products delivering outstanding value and customer experience for Australians, making this recognition especially meaningful for our team.    At Kit, we're on a mission to help families raise financially confident kids through real-world money experiences. To see that mission recognised by WeMoney is something we're incredibly grateful for.    This achievement is a testament to the dedication of so many people across Kit, x15ventures and Commonwealth Bank who work everyday to make learning about money more practical, engaging and accessible for families.    A huge thank you to WeMoney for the recognition, and congratulations to all of this year's winners.     We're excited to keep building the future of financial education for the next generation.    #WeMoneyAwards #financialeducation #financialliteracy #heykit

The world isn't slowing down, and neither are we. Last week, we brought our people together from across the country for xFest, our annual offsite and one of my highlights of the year. Two days of bold ideas and fresh perspectives, united by a simple but timely theme: Move Faster. Stay Human.   Over two days, we heard from an exceptional lineup of speakers who challenged our thinking on AI, the future of work, customer impact, venture building and leadership. We explored what’s changing, what’s possible, and what it will take to thrive in a world moving faster than ever.   A huge thank you to Toby Norton-Smith Andrea Clarke, Samantha Taranto, Dominic Pym, 🔹 Kirstin Hunter, Mathew Keeley and Laura Faulconer for sharing your insights, stories and perspectives with us.   My personal highlight? The debate! Watching our brave x'ers step onto the stage, challenge perspectives, back themselves, and bring a healthy mix of passion, intellect and humour was a brilliant reminder of what makes this community so special.   A special shout out to Cameron Gilmour, Tim Kelly, Stephanie Vong (née Lee), Asha Barbaschow, Claudia Carroll and Dan Turner for putting themselves out there, and to Melanie Hayden for keeping us honest as adjudicator.   More than anything else, xFest is about creating space for our people to connect, challenge each other's thinking, learn something new, strengthen the relationships that help us do our best work, and leave a little more energised than when we arrived.   And of course, to the incredible xFest26 crew: thank you. You are the magic makers and the people who turn ideas into experiences. xFest doesn't happen without you! Ashleigh Hazell Kirby Buchanan Beau Fraser Bradley Tubb Amelia Kirgan Aelya Rizvi   Until next year. 🚀 #xFest26 #MoveFasterStayHuman #x15ventures

  • Congratulations to Melanie Hayden, Managing Director of our identity protection app, Truyu, on being shortlisted in the 'Emerging Fintech Leader of the Year' category at #Finnies2026 👏   From day one of #Truyu, Mel has led the team with a singular focus – to help Australians stay ahead of identity theft and feel more confident in a digital world.   Particularly impressive as a first-time venture leader, Mel took Truyu from concept to market in just a few months – bringing on the right partners and forming a small yet mighty team to build something practical, easy to use, and designed from the ground up to help people protect themselves from fraud and scams 🛡️   We're fortunate enough to witness Mel's impact every day, but it’s great to see her recognised more broadly in the community – especially in such a strong line-up of fintech leaders.   Well done, Mel! We'll be crossing our fingers for you at the FinTech Australia awards night on 18 June 🤞 #Lifeatx15

Bit of a personal one. I work at x15ventures, so full transparency, but this is something I genuinely think is worth sharing. Today’s the last day to get involved in Kit Cares. We are putting $100K into community organisations. P&Cs, sporting clubs, grassroots groups. The ones doing the real work keeping kids active and connected. I love this. Spending time around sport and community, you see pretty quickly these groups are usually running on volunteers, tight budgets and a lot of goodwill. A bit of funding can go a long way. If you are part of a club or school community, it is worth a look https://lnkd.in/gaxr44ym If not, but you know someone who is, please pass it on. Not everything has to be complicated. Sometimes it is just about backing the people already doing good things. Love your work Yish Koh

  • Congratulations to our friends at Triple Bubble, who’ve just reached the first close for their debut fund, raising $10M+ in under nine months 👏 While a partnership between a bank’s venture arm and a fintech fund might seem unlikely at first glance, we actually have a lot in common – both understanding the importance of strengthening capability, innovation and talent across the financial services ecosystem – particularly in the AI era. As our MD, Toby Norton-Smith, told the AFR, our partnership reflects both “the opportunity and urgency ahead of us”. Full story by Tess Bennett below. Well done to Dominic Pym, 🌱 Judy Anderson-Firth, Nick Carter, Poppy Trewhella and Kyle Austin on a milestone moment for Triple Bubble and Australian fintech. https://lnkd.in/eEm4V9SQ

  • Last week, a group of x'ers came together to mark International Women's Day with something a little different. We painted the women who matter most to us, mums, sisters, friends, mentors, daughters (and honestly, quite a few cats and dogs 🐾). We learned, relaxed, got creative, and yes, we sipped. 🍷 A huge thank you to Amelia Kirgan for pulling the whole thing together, and to our wonderful host Claudia Carroll for making the room feel like exactly the right place to be. Here's to the women of x15, and the people (and pets) who show up to celebrate them. 💜🎨 #LifeAtx15

  • Great to see our identity protection app Truyu recognised in Commonwealth Bank's 1H26 results 💛   Truyu's Scam Checker – a free AI-powered tool designed to help people figure out whether a text message might be a scam – is just one of the ways the bank is continuing to protect customers, investing over $1 billion this year to help safeguard against fraud, scams, cyber threats and financial crime.   With scam activity continuing to evolve, giving people simple, practical tools to protect themselves can make a real difference. And that’s why getting new initiatives like Scam Checker into customers' hands matters.   Well done to the Truyu team and everyone across CommBank investing and innovating to keep customers safe 🔒   Download Truyu from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to try Scam Checker for yourself. • We're incredibly proud of our CTO Kelvin Lim, who this March is tackling the full 9-day, 1,400km Tour de Cure Australia Signature Tour from Canberra to Tasmania.   Kelvin, along with his university mates Charlie and Simon, are riding to support their friend Rodney "Rocket" Lester in his cancer journey.   Tour de Cure funds groundbreaking cancer research across Australia. Since 2007, they've raised over $158 million to fund more than 1,200 research, support, and prevention projects.   Read more about their inspiring journey 👉 https://lnkd.in/gWNSsG8p ✍️ Duncan Abey

At x15, we often talk about backing passionate people – usually those dreaming up bold ideas and solving real customer problems. But this time, we’re talking about a different kind of passion. The people who give up their Saturdays, stand on wet sidelines, run P&Cs, coach junior teams, and quietly keep our communities going.   Our venture Kit is running its inaugural Kit Cares Community Program, designed to support grassroots community organisations that help kids aged 5–15 thrive, while also building strong money habits early.   Through the program, $10,000 cash prizes are available in each region, alongside other rewards for organisations that rally community support.   If you’re involved in – or know of – a local P&C, sports club, or community group that could benefit, please help spread the word and encourage them to sign up. Because strong communities start small and backing the people doing the work really matters 💪   👉 Learn more and register here: https://lnkd.in/gAkc9Zbq 💡 Got a question? • After a well-earned break, we’re entering 2026 with renewed energy, some very bold ambitions, and the best bunch of people to take them on with.   As usual, we’ll be sharing updates, announcements and job opportunities here as the year unfolds – so give us a 'Follow' if you’re not already.   And from everyone here at x15, Happy New Year 🥳   #LifeAtx15
