President Trump: “As of last week, $19.2 trillion pouring into the United States right now from all over the world. That's the investment being made. The record was $3 trillion. In four years, the last administration did much less than $1 trillion, and we did $19.2 trillion in 12 months.”

Your own Department reporting contradicts this post. Expenditures by foreign direct investors to acquire, establish or expand U.S. businesses totaled $232.2 billion in 2025, according to preliminary statistics released June 10, 2026, by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis at the Department of Commerce. See https://www.bea.gov/news/2026/new-foreign-direct-investment-united-states-2025. Similar from the Global Business Alliance. It reported March 2026 that at $288 billion, foreign direct investment in the United States in 2025 was slightly lower than the decade’s annual average and just a 1 percent decline from 2024. See https://globalbusiness.org/foreign-direct-investment-in-the-united-states-preliminary-4th-quarter-full-year-2025/.

Historical tracking of Foreign Direct Investment net inflows into the United States, compiled using official records from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the World Bank, shows the total cumulative investment for each 4-year presidential term since 1980 (presented in raw, unadjusted USD): — Ronald Reagan (Term 1: 1981–1984): $73.8 Billion — Ronald Reagan (Term 2: 1985–1988): $162.7 Billion — George H.W. Bush (1989–1992): $191.2 Billion — Bill Clinton (Term 1: 1993–1996): $272.5 Billion — Bill Clinton (Term 2: 1997–2000): $907.5 Billion — George W. Bush (Term 1: 2001–2004): $485.4 Billion — George W. Bush (Term 2: 2005–2008): $855.9 Billion — Barack Obama (Term 1: 2009–2012): $729.4 Billion — Barack Obama (Term 2: 2013–2016): $1.21 Trillion — Donald Trump (Term 1: 2017–2020): $865.5 Billion — Joe Biden (2021–2024): $1.29 Trillion (the current record-holder for raw foreign investment capital).

There has not been $19 trillion in new investment inflows into the U.S. in any recent timeframe. The number is likely a misunderstanding or misrepresentation of broader financial metrics rather than actual capital entering the country. The claim that $19 trillion “poured into the U.S.” in investments is not supported by credible economic data. What the data actually shows * Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the U.S. (long-term investments like factories, businesses, acquisitions) is typically hundreds of billions per year, not trillions. * The total stock of foreign direct investment in the U.S. (the accumulated value over many years) is on the order of $5–6 trillion, according to official sources like the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. * Even if you include portfolio investment (stocks, bonds), annual inflows fluctuate but are still far below $19 trillion in any single period. But then again… since when were facts relevant to any institution positioning itself to gain the president’s approval

How much of it in bribes from billionaires and foreign Potentates?

Nice $19.2 Trillion, let’s pump those numbers up.

Why does every post from our government agencies, during this administration, sound like propaganda?
