The IARPA / ARI (Applied Research Institute) Solutions Marketplace is a real shift in how the Intelligence Community (IC) looks for new tech. Instead of waiting on the right BAA or program, teams can post IC-ready pitches in one place and let multiple mission customers decide if and how to move them toward contracts. #DoDIIS kicks off in Tampa next month, and the Greymatter.io team will be at 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝟲𝟭𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆. AI is rapidly moving into production alongside mission applications and APIs teams already operate, many of them are 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹. It runs everywhere, from cloud to data center to servers on a ship or other mobile units. Securing that footprint with fragmented application security tools adds cost and complexity without actually covering everything required, especially in the case of AI enabled tools. My colleague Younan Li wrote an interesting article on our conclusion that Open Claims are -contrary to common perception- often *better* for patient journey analysis than Closed Claims for RWE (Real World Evidence)

This is a great read and a really important insight into open vs closed claims! In my time at PurpleLab, my former colleague Anna Fievitz regularly would educate us and sometimes even our clients about this exact topic. This really resonated - “For patient journey analysis, the critical issue is not whether a dataset is “open” or “closed,” but instead whether patients are continuously observable during the analytical time window relevant to the research question.”
