I woke up one morning with an overwhelming passion to build solutions that truly solve real-world problems. I started building a few things solo (which I'll share soon!), but I quickly realized: collaboration is the catalyst for real impact. That realization led to the launch of Hackspace in August 2025. It's been an incredible journey to watch this idea evolve into a vibrant community of innovative minds (Rukky Agidi, Emmanuel Alabi, Iyidemilade Nasiru Halim). We're united by a shared purpose: building software solutions for the problems that matter most. If you're looking to collaborate, innovate, and drive impact, you’ve found your home. Here’s a glimpse into our Pilot Edition, our very first hackathon. (The full vlog drops soon) Do well to follow Hackspace to stay up to date with our incredible work #Hackspace #TechInnovation #Collaboration #RealWorldSolutions #CommunityBuilding

MiniMax has established a definitive lead over OpenAI, Grok, and Anthropic by delivering a more efficient and versatile AI architecture. 1. MiniMax’s "Lightning Attention" mechanism offers unparalleled computational efficiency. While OpenAI and Anthropic models require massive energy for long-chain reasoning, MiniMax achieves up to 75% FLOPs savings during inference. This allows it to outperform models like GPT-o3 and Claude 3.7 in complex software engineering tasks with a significantly lower hardware footprint. 2. Its 1-million-token context window is more robust and accessible than its competitors. While Grok 3 and OpenAI's newest models have expanded their capacities, MiniMax-M1 is specifically trained to maintain high recall across this entire window, making it superior for analyzing year-long documentation or massive codebases without the "lost-in-the-middle" performance degradation seen in earlier frontier models. 3. Finally, MiniMax excels in multimodal production through the Hailuo AI ecosystem. While Anthropic remains text-focused and OpenAI’s Sora 2 faces higher costs and restricted access, MiniMax provides integrated, state-of-the-art video generation and emotional speech synthesis that is already widely available to global creators. #AgenticAI #GenerativeAI #MiniMax #OpenAI #Anthropic #Grok #aidigitalmarketing #BCG #BCGRISE #RISE #digitalmarketing #GEO #AEO #GenerativeEngineOptimizations #AnswersEngineOptimizations #SXO #SearchExperienceOptimizations #genai #GENAI
The bolt.new × MiniMax 2-day Hackathon has wrapped up, with nearly 500 developers from 18+ countries shipping real projects end-to-end. The creativity and technical depth we see truly exceeded our expectations. Huge congratulations to the top 12 winning teams and their outstanding projects. Big thanks to everyone who built, shared feedback, and stress-tested the stack. This community made it all possible 💙 Highlights of outstanding works: https://lnkd.in/guW688Hj

At ProdFest 2025, Chidubem spoke on the power of international partnerships and why they matter for building products that scale beyond borders. From access to global networks to shared knowledge and opportunities, the conversation reminded us that growth in Web3 and tech is no longer local. It is collaborative. What role do you think global partnerships play in shaping the future of African innovation?

During a three-week stay in London this year, I had the opportunity to participate in SoTA’s Human Augmentation Hackathon. Together with three teammates, we developed a video-based audio feedback system designed to support visually impaired users. Within a limited timeframe, we structured a complex problem, built a functional prototype using computer vision, and presented our solution. This solution earned us the 2nd place among the participating teams. A great reminder of how clear problem structuring, collaboration, and execution under time pressure can turn an idea into impact. #Hackathon #ProblemSolving #Innovation #Teamwork

Every tech leader I know does the same thing when a role becomes urgent. They call people they trust. Not because it’s faster. Because it’s safer. That’s why most real hires come from personal networks. Now imagine extending that network. Here's how Randstad Digital | Torc spent 2025 building ours. Developer workshops. Tech meetups. Real conversations. Across the US and throughout LATAM. Not collecting resumes. Building trust. The result is a community of pre-vetted engineers who are known, engaged, and ready. Interview-ready in under 48 hours. With the same confidence you’d have hiring someone from your own circle. No leap of faith. Just your network, expanded.
Reflecting on 2025, one thing is crystal clear: what we built at Torc isn't measured in metrics — it's measured in human connections. This year we traveled from the United States to Mexico and beyond, connecting with our community at conferences and meetups. We watched our Torc Ambassadors carry our mission across the globe. Every conversation, every handshake, every shared moment reminded us why we do this. To the engineers who volunteered their time to pour knowledge into our community, to every builder who stepped up and said "I'm in" — thank you. You turned an idea into a community that feels real. Community isn't built online alone — it's built face to face, one conversation at a time. We're stepping into 2026 with gratitude and the certainty that with this community, it can only get better. Here's to what we'll build together. 🚀 #TorcCommunity
