Using Kustomize
Kustomize is a pretty interesting tool that helps in managing and creating complex Kubernetes configurations. You can use it to generate resources from other sources, it can set common fields for all of these resources, and it can be used as a template to create complex applications. If you want to use it, a file with the name kustomization.yaml needs to be created. And this file contains a resources section that refers to additional YAML files that need to be included, as well as an optional ConfigMap generator and secret generator. You can apply the content of this file using kubectl -k followed by a dot, which is the local directory which should contain the kustomization.yaml file. Now the kustomization.yaml file can use a ConfigMap generator to generate ConfigMaps, and it can create a secret generator to generate secrets.
