Ferncrest is an expanding outdoor-hospitality and franchising venture, building a community of more than 750,000 followers through story-driven content. We're launching a weekly YouTube documentary series exploring glamping, real estate, and investing.

We're hiring a Video Editor & Storyteller to transform raw footage into high-performing, story-driven videos across formats. The role goes well beyond basic editing — it's narrative craftsmanship and consistent content production across multiple platforms.

The Role

What you'll do.

What you'll do

• Edit a weekly documentary-style YouTube series with clear narrative arcs.
• Produce short-form content for Reels, Shorts, TikToks, and Facebook.
• Deliver high-volume weekly edits while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with founders and the marketing team on content strategy.
• Occasionally film on location as needed.
• Organize media assets and manage post-production workflows.
• Incorporate graphics, captions, motion, and music into edits.
  
  

You

Who we're looking for.

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating documentary or story-driven work.
• Proven ability to craft emotionally resonant narratives.
• Experience with short-form content across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar).
• Knowledge of vertical formats and motion templates.
• Comfortable filming with camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

Work arrangement

We’re prioritizing candidates based in Tampa, FL — or willing to relocate — but we’ll consider hybrid-remote candidates who can travel to Tampa as needed.
