Marketing & BD Manager (Technology Sector)

Our client is a leading global Am Law firm with 3,000+ lawyers across 30+ offices worldwide, recognized for its sophisticated client work, global reach, and deep industry expertise.

They are seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead the global Technology sector - a highly visible role partnering directly with sector leadership, senior lawyers, and M&BD teams around the world.

This role will be hybrid and can be based in SF, Silicon Valley, or NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the global M&BD strategy for the Technology sector, strengthening market positioning and driving growth.
• Serve as the M&BD lead for the global Technology team, partnering closely with senior lawyers and sector leadership.
• Lead pitches, RFPs, proposals, targeting initiatives, and client development strategies.
• Drive high-profile marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, sponsorships, conferences, and profile-raising initiatives.
• Support strategic client relationships through client feedback, financial analysis, and business development planning.
• Manage and mentor a global M&BD team while collaborating across practices, offices, and functions.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Marketing & BD experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Technology sector experience is a plus.
• Strong strategic, commercial, and client-development mindset.
• Proven experience with pitches, proposals/RFPs, campaigns, and business development.
• Prior people management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, writing, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
