“Miles has the rare combination of technical brilliance, profound likability, and the super power to wax poetically about any topic in a way that every person within ear shot is hypnotized. I've always said that Miles could walk into your grandmother's house, and by 10 minutes she'd be baking him cookies, within an hour he would have successfully explained how the whole internet works and have her email, photos, and computer all purring, and by the end of the visit she would have a new D&D character and he would be invited to regular family dinners. After he leaves, she would slap you on the head asking why you couldn't be more like that nice boy. I've known Miles for more than 20 years, and worked for him directly for 4 of those. Working with him has been an incredible pleasure, because above all else he loves his team and he has a natural instinct for doing what's right. His vision for what cloud is and should be is prophetic, and the impact he's had thus far on the entire ecosystem is almost impossible to believe. Whenever you hear a loud "bwat schkoot bodap" blast of tuba music and flashing rainbow of led light streak through the sky, fear not, that's just Miles bringing joy to all the good girls and boys in the cloud. ”
