During the Ross Fire response in Palo Pinto County, TX, aerial firefighting aircraft, helicopters, and ground crews operated throughout the region to support wildfire suppression efforts. Mineral Wells served as an important community and emergency response center during the incident. World Fuel supplied fuel and operational resources to help keep aircraft and crews active throughout the response. Lunch, hydration, and snacks were also provided for personnel working long hours on the ground. City of Mineral Wells (FBO) and Eastland Aero LLC, both World Fuel FBO Network locations, operated as key fire bases during these efforts. Thank you to the pilots, firefighters, ground crews, airport teams, and organizations that contributed to the wildfire response.
